NEVER NEVER NEVER Fly with them
If I could give negative stars I would This airline is the worst airline I have ever flown with it wasn t even my choice as a larger airline had partnered with them From the start of my holiday I had issues checking in as it kept saying system issues When I called the airline they told me I would not be able to travel as the time on my return flights a month away was incorrect and I needed to get it fixed so I could travel After talking to the larger airline they confirmed it was Batik s issues and not theirs as the travel time was correct Called Batik back and told them they still refused to believe me and take accountability and they ended up hanging up on me This was all before my holiday When I finally got on the plane they started doing food service I had prebooked food so I should them my boarding pass they said they had no record of my meal purchase I showed them them the meal selection invoice they told me the meal I had prepurchased was not an economy meal but business class and I was unable to have it They also offered to economy passengers the option to upgrade to business class when I asked how much they gave me the price and they were firm on cash only Batik s T C s clearly state credit card only so this sounded very very dodgy to me I did email their customer service team about this also no reply and no accountability Fast forward to my return flights Everything was fine with the bigger airline get to Kuala Lumpar for my flight back to Australia I got off the plane and looked at the departure board for my flight but could not see it My flight was meant to leave at 6 45pm I went to the transfer desk and enquiried and they told me that the flight was cancelled and the new flight was at midnight I told them I had not received any notification from batik that the original flight was cancelled and changed there was no care factor or wanting to help I had to waiting 6 hours in the airport I had also bought a specific seat for the extra leg room they went and changed it on me and once again the meal I had prepurchased was not on their list and didn t exist This airline is absolutely horrible Their customer service have no care factor and hang up on you they don t record acknowledge your meal purchases and cancel flights on your without letting you know Do not travel with this airline they are horrible and useless

From start to finish awful
From start to finish the worst flight experience I ve ever had I booked a business seat from KUL to Delhi on their 737 After being checked in by the miserable check in attendant we were told we would not have access to lounge as the business ticket we booked didn t include even though their website said it does along with priority boarding liaison staff to help in airport - this was all a lie and we didn t get any extra benefits when in the airport this is not a business class experience The seat was broken the leg rest wouldn t go down or up and was stuck in the middle - the crew didn t know how to fix so I was stuck with a broken chair The headrest also fell on the person behind waking them up - embarrassing For the 5 hour flight we were not offered a drink outside of the meal plain rice plain chicken and a bread roll I asked for 2 7up s for me and my partner but said we couldn t have 2 between us as there was only 2 left in the plane not sure how that is our problem We had to share 1 7up between us Tried to use toilet in the front of the plane but all cabin crew were huddled in the galley and I was told I couldn t enter and to use the toilet at the back of the plane from the look of what was going on they were on their break and chatting but I just needed the toilet Worst experience I ve had on a flight and will be requesting a refund on tickets as we didn t receive any of the benefits listed online

Bankrupt or Just Ignoring Customers
I inquired about a refund for my flight on July 30 on July 6 and I formally submitted my refund request on July 17 It s truly ridiculous that 1 I received a check-in notification for my flight on July 30 which I canceled two weeks earlier 2 Today is September 23 3 The airline is still operational

I would give no star if I could The amount of time my flights was changed is ridiculous people have situations and reasons to book that particular flight 4times my flight was chnaged on top of that no meals provided either for the extended layover Never getting on this airline again

This is a joke of an airline
This is a joke of an airline even with Indonesian standards It s a part of Lion Group and Lion air is notoriously bad I made a bad decision in booking my parents with Batik Air from Medan to Jakarta The flight was delayed twice with nothing but a useless sorry by the crew This ruined our plan for the night as we missed the last train in Jakarta I don t understand how an airline can operate so badly that they delayed hours TWICE and didn t even let us know until the last minute Honestly whilst in Indonesia just pay extra so that you don t have to fly with Lion Air or Batik Air It s not worth your inconveniences when they don t even feel the sligthest bit of remorse about inconveniencing their customers AVOID

The WORST airline company
The WORST airline company Avoid flying with Batik Air This was by far the worst flight experience I ve ever had It all started back in June when I booked my initial ticket with Batik Air Without any prior notice they canceled my flight simply because I sent an email inquiring about the possibility of a refund As soon as they received the email they canceled the booking What followed was endless back-and-forth calls that led nowhere leaving me to book a same-day flight with Emirates due to their poor handling of the issue and the time difference between Dubai and Malaysia Batik Air doesn t operate full days which made it even harder to reach any resolution and their customer service took no responsibility The call center repeatedly hung up on me which seemed to be their way of avoiding problems altogether Eventually I spoke to an agent who advised me to move my flight to another date I chose October 5th and this is where the worst part of the experience began The flight quality was terrible and the cabin crew service was even worse I had already paid for a comfort kit and blanket but while in the air they asked me for proof of purchase an absurd request considering there was no internet onboard When I couldn t show them the proof they told me I had to purchase the items again and when I tried to pay they informed me they only accepted cash or credit card which added to the frustration The entire flight was a disaster I wouldn t recommend anyone to fly with Batik Air The plane s cabin pressure was so bad that I had ear pain for six days afterward and had to see a doctor

WORST FREAKING WEBSITE EVER WILL SELL YOU INSURANCE IF YOU SELECT SEVERAL TIMES YOU DONT WANT IT worst airline worst website Will trick you into getting insurance if you click No Thanks you will actually still get it due to smart formulation I selected 3x i do not want insurance Total cost showed as 411 in the cost breakdown in credit card i got charges 500 because it still selected the freaking insuranceNo wonder your pilots fall asleep you are a terrible airline lah
