Padlock fell apart after 3 months with lifetime guarantee Berlin tools refuses to honor guarantees after 30 days of eBay purchase Not an expensive item but not fit for purpose and should not be sold as such I doubt very much that it would stand up to any forced entry attempt if it falls apart so easy Customer services sending definition of Consumer Rights Act which says -Goods must be of satisfactory quality as described fit for particular purposeThis item is not fit for purpose hence you must honor my consumer rights this is the in the text you sent me confirming it
