Best Western Took Advantage of Us

We travel with our dog and made a reservation for the Best Western Motel in Moab UT online while on the road In making that reservation we were transferred from the Best Western site to an alternative reservation center site When we got to the motel we were informed that pets were not accepted We asked for a refund but apparently because their reservation people are off-shore the person at the desk could not help us and we were given a number to call After about 30 minutes of being transferred around we were informed that we would not be refunded despite the fact that the motel was about 3 4 empty because the original website stated pets were not allowed In addition just for the pleasure of talking to their reservation center we were additionally upcharged another 12 Yes we made an honest mistake because the previous night we stayed at another Best Western that did accept pets Needless to say we view this practice as an excuse to steal from us and we will never stay at another Best Western again

The Best Western Seatac I lost my flight home because their free breakfast gave me food poisoning It was the sausage Manager deflected I know 100 it was their food that made me sick because I had not eaten anything for at least 12 hours Beware of the food temperatures here The experience I went through was BRUTAL

Stayed at Best Western Hotels Resorts

Stayed at Best Western Hotels Resorts in Kansas City MO this past weekend It was the hotel directly across from the stadiums at 4011 Blue Ridge Cut Off Kansas City MO 64133 This hotel was horrible The GM was terrible and has no business running that hotel I was there for an event happening in their ballrooms The GM made decisions that went against the contract that the group throwing the event had in place The GM voluntarily broke contract On top of that the GM cornered one of the people that was in charge of the event in front of other customers in the lobby area in an attempt to cause a fight so that the GM could throw this person out of the hotel When this person walked away the GM threatened to throw them out anyway Again this GM has NO business running this hotel There were other issues that were found also One of the entries to the hotel was chained closed To my knowledge this was one of two entries exits to this hotel and was a serious fire hazard The actual staff or at least the ones that we had interaction with were amazing The person at the front desk who fixed our reservation was amazing I feel for them having to deal with a GM that is that bad 0 5 stars Avoid this hotel at all costs until they get better management

CORPORATE DOES NOT HOLD ITS FRANCHISEES ACCOUNTABLE Don t ever stay at a Best Western you will not be made whole if you have a bad experience They will do nothing to hold their franchisees to the standard of their agreement See my review below about the BW Gen X location in Memphis It s my mission to make them regret this and change their policies and how these complaints are handled moving forward Someone has to spark change and I don t mind taking on that task BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS STAY AWAY MANAGER NEVER CALLED TO REFUND ME EITHER THEY COMPLETELY DENIED IT EVEN THOUGH I HAD PICTURES F THIS PLACE AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED AND SHUT DOWN see the other reviews In response to management comment I was bitten twice Had to pull one off my skin I have pictures Your denial and refusal to take accountability is laughable You never called me never addressed my concerns just denied everything I have reported you to Best Western corporate and have an appt to speak with someone at the Memphis health department on Monday I d recommend you call me with remediation prior to that day Your choiceAnother update Tennessee Health Department has been notified I had a phone call with BW corporate I have contacted my attorney And I have a blood draw with my doctor scheduled You are digging your own hole by not responding AT this point I don t care about the money I m determined to make this an awful thorn in your side if it s not handled professionally

Never book with Best Western they dishonestly make it impossible to ever claim against their lowest rate guarantee You follow their instructions expecting they will price match and then they refuse because deep down in the fine print somewhere it says discount and promotional rates are not eligible Yes they have rigged it so they never have to match anything and you waste hours book overpriced rooms from them Just to ensure they fleece you thoroughly they first insist you first book the overpriced rate with them and only them directly and make it nonrefundable Now in their rate guarantee claim form the field for pasting the web link accepts only 32 characters A link that proves you could have saved a lot of money booking elsewhere which also shows you weren t logged in to a 3rd party site will typically run over 256 characters So the link will be incomplete and will not work They will reply around 1-2 days later with an unintelligible email Mine had the wrong name on it and also said your claim has been denied for the following reason s The competing rate must be reported in the LRG CLAIM FORM also including the cents When you reply with the full link they reply again eventually again with a misspelt name insist on a new claim but the 24hr window for making the complaint has expired days ago and most likely the price too This is unethical and I would guess in the EU where I made the booking illegal behaviour This is the last ever time I patronise a BW hotel
