Excellent service from Biddulphs We moved from South Africa to UK in Dec 2019 Packing was done professionally a little confusion regarding departure dates communication once arrived at customs and delivery date All rounded 5 stars Thank you Biddulphs

Another successful move
We have now moved three times with Biddulphs and so it was a no Brainerd to use them with our current move This time we had them pack for us and wow did they pack We were so impressed with how well the packing was done and how fast the process went

We used Biddulphs for our relocation to the UK They were the second lowest quote but having used them before and based off that experience we decided to use them again We were locating right as the lockdowns etc were taking place in SA and so it was an extremely uncertain and not business as usual Biddulphs were excellent in the communication planning and execution of the move Plus our goods were in storage for 6 months due to border closures When we received our house contents in the UK 6 months later the delivery was on time as communicated and we did not have one breakage I would recommend them to anyone

Five star service
I recently moved my household contents to storage using Biddulphs The sales staff Deoliza was efficient and helpful and supplied a quote the same day that I submitted the inventory Shortly after I confirmed acceptance of the quote I received an email from the operations team confirming the date of the move On packing day Lucky and Doctor were courteous and gentle with my things as they packed and wrapped On moving day the whole team was great and supervised by David who remained onsite all day The team was professional friendly and I felt as if they treated my items with care and respect Thank you to Ryan Gibbons CEO for your reassurances and for the call on the day to see how it was going I look forward to receiving everything back in ship shape condition from storage when we find our new home Thanks Team Biddulphs - I would recommend you guys to everyone Not to mention that your pricing was extremely competitive for such a big name in the business Lastly I also want to mention that it is such good practice to see that you hire disabled people as part of your moving team a hard of hearing person I was truly impressed by it all

Abysmal
We used Biddulphs to relocate from South Africa to the UK It was an unmitigated disaster The list is endless boxes and boxes were missing nothing was properly numbered so it has proven impossible to evidence our claims to the insurance and goods were so badly packed that the breakage was shocking - never mind the glassware shattered we even had tables and chairs with legs broken right off

Nightmare moving experience
I have just moved back to Canada from South Africa I have moved to or from South Africa 3 times in my life I used Biddulphs from South Africa this time The Biddulphs staff broke several items of antique furniture Numerous other items were so badly damaged by poor packing that they are no longer useable Most of our jewellery was stolen The Operations Manager later attempted to evade responsibility for the theft by suggesting that we should not have packed the jewellery at all but kept it with us This was a contradiction of the instructions that the branch manager had given us beforehand All packing was carried out by Biddulphs or packed according to their instructions We identified a suspect to Biddulphs and explained our reasons for suspecting him On Biddulphs request we reported the matter to the South African Police Services so that Biddulphs could start their own investigation We were subsequently told by the South African Police Service detective who was allocated to the case that Biddulphs had conducted their own internal investigation in a way that prevented the SAPS from further investigating it I regard Biddulphs actions as an attempt to hide the perpetrator and avoid blame The shipment was then delayed over a month with attempts being made to blame this on the a blockage of the Suez Canal This event only took place after our belongings were supposed to have arrived in Canada and is another attempt to evade responsibility for their own actions They are a dishonest and irresponsible company and should be avoided at all costs

Disappointed
We relocated from South Africa to UK and due to covid and the red list our boxes arrived long before we were able to get to the UK which meant we were only able to check our contents much later I later found that my very expensive pair or Jordan s were no where to be seen and were 100 there with the rest of my shoes at packing stage I brought this this to Biddulphs attention and was told the window of time to raise a claim was passed to which I replied with understanding however covid delayed us getting here to check the boxes and regardless of whether or not we can claim im still very angry and disappointed that my shoes were gone I was completely ignored after this and my next email was also completely ignored Clearly they couldn t care less So disappointed as the service I received in the beginning before the packing was great

Absolutely useless removal company avoid
Myself and my mother had our stuff moved by Biddulphs her stuff went to Australia and my stuff to the uk All my moms expensive silverware and a antique table never arrived in Australia Some paintings and glassware was missing from my move As both our belongings were stored due to covid we couldn t claim for missing stolen stuff Customer service stinks Steer clear of this useless company

We had our goods from UK and ended up with less
We had our stuff moved from the UK to South Africa and could only verify all the boxes months later Once verified we have found 4 complete boxes are missing with expensive equipment in these boxes Having gone back and forth with the Biddulphs representative this side we keep getting told they are verifying with the Office in George All boxes were properly numbered and recorded by the UK shipping company before leaving UK On delivery in SA the missing box numbers were shown on the delivery note as being delivered by Biddulphs in SA Once we checked months later as we could not move to the destination until later we find 4 boxes non existent and get the run around from Biddulphs Insurance claim is not possible as they cleverly only allow 7 days to claim Who can check everything in 7 days anyway They even kept asking us if we had another customers 5 boxes in our shipment yet all our items were apparently marked as delivered with the count being correct They would have found a discrepency if the process was properly done Guess those boxes went elsewhere instead or were stolen Either way it s pointless dealing with a company who does not care for your goods Thanks Biddulphs
