Overpriced and rude
Overpriced both times I have been They have always insisted on changing BB Headset full groupset gears and brake pads each time I found the gentlemen I dealt with to be rude I was told my bike would be ready in 1 week I then got a call text to say it was ready after 1 day which is great however when I asked if I could collect it as planned the next week as originally stated I was told I had maximum 3 days as a threat Not a pleasant experience overall Lastly I went to collect my bike and it was soaking wet I asked why The answer it was stored outside - not how I expect my bike to be kept

Rude and gave false assessment of bike
Made time to bring bike in Arrived - treated very rudely as always happens They said bike needed new everything and was dangerous and would cost 500 to repair and to buy new bike Took to another shop and whilst there were some things wrong it was nowhere near the things they said at BikeHouse London Costs only 150 and they were nice Bike House did exactly same thing to my partner and to friend Not worth visiting They may be busy now and able to treat people badly but when the pandemic is over customers will remember

Disgraceful
graceful customer service charged me 79GBP to put a bike into a bike box when they knew I had no other option A 10 15 minute job Called the owner to try and pay a more reasonable price Offered 50GBP which is still ridiculously high and was threatened that they d give my bike back to the previous owner if it wasn t paid baffling As if that wasn t enough after paying I called several times to have the bike put in a bike box for the courier and was told repeatedly that it hadn t been done Useless Bike ended up being all scratched once arrived wasn t massively surprised

Being decent does not cost anything
Got a flat tyre tonight and my little portable pump broke Walked 10 mins to get to them to see if they would lend me a pump I was told that they do not do a pump service and don t have a pump they could lend me - but they could sell me a pump and their cheapest pump was 24 So they would not pump up my tyre but would sell me a cheapo one at inflated prices Most cycle shops would help out a fellow cyclist - I really hope karma strikes them They have lost a customer for life

Dishonest and incompetent
Dishonest and incompetent I brought my electric bike to have a puncture fixed When I picked it up I noticed that the worker broke the plastic cover of the electrical cables that had to be disconnected to replace the tire and I know it was fine before I brought the bike there since I checked the tire myself The worker that had done the repair at first admitted breaking the bike and not telling me but then his handlers bosses told him to say that it was already broken and he went on to lie to my face following their prompt - total shameless dishonesty Don t deal with these people - there are plenty of honest and competent stores around and this ain t one PS and if you don t believe me just read the tons of negative reviews I should have done that too

I would avoid this shop
I really would avoid this shop if you possibly can I m really diappointed by my expereince at Bike House today I arrived at the shop was blocked from entering by one of the team hoovering no issue with that but he could very easily see me trying to get in but was chatting to his colleague once inside I was roundly ignored When I found my item and took it to the till the staff member behind the desk didn t even look up from his phone the other did come across eventually just put out his hand and didn t say anything at all I asked about the price of the titem as it was 23 8 more expensive in store than on thier website I asked if that was correct and he said - yeah probably I don t know I m not responsible for that someone else probably sets the prices You want this or not I bought the item as I needed it today and had travelled especially to buy it Nobody said thank you nobody said goodbye No interest in the customer Is there such a famine of bike shops now that people can be rude and surly and not care about decent communication and service

Go elsewhere
I ordered a cycle helmet to be delivered but unfortunately it did not fit comfortably so I wanted to return it After three attempts to the returns procedure online did not work so I tried phoning the store It took several attempts to get an answer despite letting the phone ring for some time However it wasn t worth the effort as the person on the end of the line didn t give two hoots about entertaining a return was very dismissive and told me to go online which of course was why I was phoning I would advise that customers go elsewhere and shop with somebody who has a more renowned name and reputation whilst I head off to eBay to try and sell what I clearly won t be able to return
