Worst shopping experience in many Years never again
My odyssey with BSR started with a Vinyl Box pre-order in February 2024 which was supposed to be shipped out in July 2024 July came to an end without any information from BSR and since they are very active on Insta is asked for an Update there They answered kinda fast that they haven t received the Vinyls yet and that they expect them at the beginning of August Time went on and I had to ask again This time I used the Customer Service E-Mail Address and after a few days I received the answer telling me they just received the Vinyls and that I should get my Order within the next 2 Weeks Why do they need two weeks to ship stuff But okay I stayed positive because I saw a notification in my DHL App that BSR is preparing an order for me but it stayed this way for one Week I checked my DHL App every day and one week later the Vinyls finally got into the hands of DHL and I also received a Shipping Notification from BSR This leads me to the only good thing I can say BSR does secure packing in a cute box with their custom design - yeah So my order finally arrived with a delay of over 6 Weeks If I hadn t asked for my order status several times I would have never been informed about the delay Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the quality of the Vinyls not the fault of BSR and returned them as agreed with BSR I waited and waited but did not get my money back or any information Since the 180-Day Timeline from PayPal to open a claim had passed I also could not get my money back this way I wrote several e-mails because there is no Phone-Number on the BSR Page and on the last they before I planned to go to a lawyer which was 1 month after I returned the Vinyls they refunded my order but without the shipping fees I had to pay to return the Vinyls Well regarding German Law the Seller has to pay for Return-Shipping Fees if there are quality Problems with an Item but of course BSR did not do that In the beginning they don t even wanted to refund the original shipping fees from BSR to me so I guess I m still lucky that I only lost 7 with this Order But I will not put further energy into this because it s useless At the same time of the Refund they also send me an e-mail with an explanation which said that they are sorry People were sick there are many e-mails and that the oldest mail will be checked first BUT if you write them several mails like I did the system takes the Date from your newest Mail and therefore you will be put at the bottom again How stupid is that To make it short This was the worst shopping experience I had in many many years I lost money and a lot of nerves through BSR The main Problem is that there are not enough people For example there is only one person doing customer service If this person is on vacation sick on a special event or there are just too much customer mails you will not get an answer for WEEKS But hey you can enjoy their Insta Account with a ton of Posts and Stuff It seems like this is more important to them than actual customers

Does the customer support even exist
I ordered a vinyl which I got after a year of waiting and many many delays the vinyl arrived with a damaged cover considering the price and the waiting time I sent them pictures about the issue the same day I received it It s been now 5 days and I m still waiting does the customer support even exist They keep posting on social media seems like it s more important to have a C M to brag about new releases rather than taking care of existing customer So here I am waiting with my damaged product the best part is how the part about damaged order on their website is almost insulting you only have 2 days to contact them yet they don t reply then you need to go to a DHL facilty for inspection which is a total first to me maybe start having an existing customer support I ll never buy again from this store again doesn t matter if it s exclusivity I ve seen some grey market video game keys with faster support

Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support i ve been waiting for my lp for about 2 months now The customer support doens t respond to e-mails at all If you want a response you have to contact them through their website form and include al of you e-mails in the attached files If you are lucky you might get a subpar response in the same week If you re unlucky you get scammed and have no way of getting in contact or getting your money back If you decide to order from this company at least pay using paypal or a creditcard so you can at least get your money back

Please avoid No customer service at all
Avoid buying from them although their website might seem clean and nice The customer service does not exist at all and if something happens to your order the only thing you can do would be to submit a contact form which no one would reply So you ll never get your money back if something wrong happens

Partial order fulfillment with missing tracking numbers
I received what I thought was one of my orders from Black Screen Records today but it only contains 5 out 12 items There was only one tracking number provided with the shipping notification for my order and that tracking number is for the package I received so now I have no way of checking where the rest of my order is To add insult to the injury the box came in very beat up condition thankfully the bubblewrap inside kept the jewelcases intact I also have a problem with another order from Black Screen I received a few days ago where they packed one wrong item I ordered 5 items total in that order It s not really worth mentioning on its own but I figured I might as well add it here Considering that Black Screen Records staff are on holiday from December 21 to January 6 I will have to wait a long time for these problems to be resolved I guess sloppy fulfillment of orders is to be expected during Black Friday sales By the way it really pisses me off how they still charge VAT to customers outside of EU For this reason I only tend to order from Black Screen when the other options don t provide much of an advantage in terms of price and shipping costs Like others have mentioned they take forever to fulfill orders

I have ordered an item with around 6 months to be shipped Date was changed so many times it went to around two years Yet shop never bothered to contact me Once they even posted wrong year I mentioned it in the email but they were unable to pinpoint it Yes we are talking about date nothing complex They were always nice but useless as could not tell me the real shipping date or even spot a OVER year difference in shipping When I writed that they threat me not like a customer but like a peasant since it s always me who needs to follow up the order I got email from some other department both humans with pronouns that they will not tolerate me offending their staff And due to that they are cancelling my order Like a bunch of 4yr olds Due to the insane amount of time between the payment and cancellation I lost quite a lot due to currency changes Shop did ignore my request to at least cover the difference as they had my money for so much time I buy collector stuff on many sites never had such situation I strongly advice if you have any other option to buy something - use it You might have a bad luck when autocorrect changes something and snowflakes will be offended And I m not even against all this DEI But with such behavior soon you will be fined for honking on a car which did not move on a green light because the noise was too loud

Black Screen Records continues to disgust me with their non-existent customer service I messaged them a second time regarding an issue with one of my orders from them which was supposed to contain 5 vinyl albums but they packed a CD instead of one of the vinyl albums I waited too long for their response and now can t file a PayPal dispute since more than 30 days has passed playing right into their hands Black Screen Records is absolute trash if they mess up the fulfillment of your order don t expect them to resolve it in any way or apologize for it

UK customer had a great experience
I put a restock alert on about a year ago and it finally came through a couple weeks ago Was concerned about the shipping as it said they can t refund damaged orders and instantly I came to trustpilot and seen the bad reviews My friend took a look on reddit and said its a legit website so we bought two of the same record one each Took a week or so to be shipped but once DHL had received it the records arrived a day or two later Very fast delivery from Germany to England Records were packed tremendously and arrived in immaculate condition Super happy with my order as this record is really hard to come by and we got it at RRP Wanted to leave a positive review because if my friend hadn t convinced me these reviews would have put me off Thanks
