I have previously ordered blinds from Blinds Direct
I have previously ordered blinds from this company with no problems However recently ordered 2 wooden blinds the same size and one of the blinds is too large Emailed the company and as requested took photos and emailed them back was informed that a new blind would be sent Weeeellll weeks later no blind we are stuck with a blind we can t use oh and the emails from the company are either misleading or they don t reply Please don t waste your time trying to phone I really don t think the phones are manned My husband has now said he will correspond with the company and I have given verbal consent as I m due surgery so this won t be a priority Butttt here we go again they are now ignoring him Before these issues I would have recommended Blinds direct but not anymore Shocking customer service

Defective products not adequate customer service
Vertical blinds arrived first without the correct fixing brackets and second after I eventually got the correct fixing brackets and managed to put the rail up - it turned out that there was one missing clip in the sealed rail so I couldnt attach the last stripe which now leaves a gap between some of the stripes when fully closed E-mailed them twice and they just kept saying that the item was correctly manufactured but they just provided an extra stripe which is not the case obviously I did order the same type of blinds for other areas and none of them turned up with either an extra stripe or a gap between them so disappointed lastly I wanted to complain but they said they dont have a complain procedure so they asked me to wait for up to 24 hrs for a manager to contact me which never actually happened

Awful company
Awful company Sent us the wrong size blinds along with the incorrect amount compared to what we have ordered and now are refusing to refund them Extremely unhelpful when emailed we have spend over 400 and they are absolutely awful NEVER use these people

Unbelievably poor customer service
Ordered an exact width roller blind They cut 3 cms off - despite their expert fitting guidelines which states that they will not reduce the width on an exact measurement as opposed to a recess one I have ordered blinds online from many companies and have never experienced this before They are refusing to accept that this is not my fault and clearly couldn t care less about customer service Well they won t stay in business for long when so many other companies really work hard at providing excellent service and see problems like this as opportunities to prove their worth I am getting my bank to refund the 70 which they could have easily done without all the aggro Just wish I d checked them out beforehand The reviews prove the point

Ordered a blind for 236cm length
Ordered a blind for 236cm length a 232cm one arrives and won t sit in the brackets - this is their response Thank you for your email With a roller blind we do make a 3-4cm deduction from the width of the fabric to allow for the brackets and mechanisms You can find more about this information on our measurement guide but also on the ordering page itself You can click the i button on our website next to the recess exact selection and this provides further information Unfortunately as your order is correct and are made to measure I am unable to accept a return and issue a refund However in order to aid you in re-ordering you can call us on 01924 481729 and we d be delighted to deduct 50 from your replacement order if you would like to order using a different measurement type So in essence it s my fault for ordering one thing and receiving another Their solution Give us more money and maybe we ll get it right next time If you don t want to be similarly ripped off and casually dismissed don t buy from them

Very displeased
Very displeased One of our blinds arrived damaged and after much back and forward emails and despite having been told they see the problem they are refusing to replace the faulty head rail and just coming up with excuse after excuse will be doing a bank charge back as I didn t get what I paid for

DO NOT USE THEMWould give them zero stars if i could Blinds sent DO NOT match the listing description colour at all Customer service is terrible Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 goods you supply must match their description which they do not Gave them many options to rectify this having spent nearly 400 with them Will be going to my bank and trading standards regarding mis selling items

Don t buy from Blinds Direct The blind was faulty BD asked for a video and picture and identified a different fault then asked me to repair it myself then refused to accept the return and subsequently changed their mind about the faults They wear you down eventually and now I ve lost over 200 Order number 5395550

Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service We bought some perfect fit blinds and took out the surefit guarantee We spent 400 on our blinds and mismeasured the bead depth so the clips that came with the blind were incorrect No problem I thought we bought the guarantee so they can just send us the new clips I was wrong even though their website does not say anything about this apparently the clips are not covered in the guarantee Good customer service would have just led to someone sending us out replacement clips however we were told we had to purchase them It s not much it s only 6 but there is principal at stake The customer service advisor on the live chat was rude and had dreadful grammar We will not be using this company again nor will we recommend them

Don t use they won t fix faulty products
Be warned very poor customer service and they will not fix any significant faults or issues with blinds I will not use this company again They blatantly try to ignore the Consumer Rights Act Ordered wooden blinds and they delivered blinds that have the lift and tilt cords positioned very oddly toward the centre of the blinds and not at the edges Clealy faulty and not matching what any reasonable consumer would expect When I have contacted their customer services expecting a simple replacement or refund they have refused They have stated because their blinds are made to measure they will not be refunded or replaced regardless of faults They quoted their own website as stating Products will vary from their pictures and they are for illustrative purposes only They said to fix the issue I will need to buy them again and they will offer 50 off How ridiculous this is Trying to get repeat buying by refusing to fix an issue and trying to force a customer to pay again to get their company product quality control issues fixed
