Deceptive practices and unresponsive customer service
I was a customer that had automatic renewal I received an email stating my subscription would renew on 07 01 2023 for 415 dollars almost twice what I paid the prior year On the 7th of January my credit card company sent me a notice of a pending charge from Bloomberg for 415 dollars I immediately signed into my Bloomberg account to cancel but found directions that I needed to contact customer support It was Saturday and customer support is not opened on the weekend I received an email that I would not receive a refund but the would not bill me next year This is so wrong and misleading at best I believe these are deliberate methods to bilk subscribers

As others have pointed out they try to scam you by offering a cheap entry price and then auotmatically charge your card a higher price even though you had cancelled Very dishonest I will never use them again and have told my colleagues in addition the content is not news at all but totally one sided political nonsense

Deceptive sales practice after trial
Deceptive sales practice after trial period I specifically logged in before my trial ended to cancel the auto renewal feature on my Bloomberg dashboard but it was still auto-renewed Apparently despite having that feature YOU NEED TO CONTACT THEIR SUPPORT to have such a simple thing cancelled If you have been charged a year too bad you would never get a refund Not even a pro-rated one because as they say it this is their terms and conditions

Bloomberg knew about the FTX desaster in July but didn t want to publish anything about it because it would ve been bad for their business and they were already bought by FTX Don t trust anything they say and for god s sake don t give them any money

Won t let me cancel Been trying for a year
I emailed customer service to cancel it a couple months ago no response and I m still getting billed Tried over 13 times to cancel it according to instructions but it s logically impossible I log into the Bloomberg app open chat box ask to unsubsubscribe Then it logs me off the app and instructs me to log into the Bloomberg app and unsubscribe with the chat box If I try this enough times then it locks my account If these guys aren t in jail soon it will be their billion dollar legal team We should all flood them with chargebacks

Very stupid people at Bloomberg
Very stupid people at Bloomberg They always write UK property aritcles using Rightmove interview and quotes How thick can you get Rightmove is only makes money if property market transaction volumes remain high and for that you need property price increases mostly haha So Rightmove will always give positive news about the property market as if they say prices will continue to fall people will halt buying and wait hence property transaction volumes will go down and Rightmove will make less money HOW THICK CAN BLOOMBERG BE TO USE RIGHTMOVE VIEWS AND INTERVIEWS ALL THE TIME Feel sorry for people paying for Bloomberg news haha

Their support NEVER gets back to me You can t cancel or change your subscription I ve sent them multiple emails about updating my subscription from different email addresses in few days apart each and THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME I m extremely disappointed to be treated this way by such a huge company

I was Paying mi subscription and then forced to watch video adds one after another makes me furious of the huge waste of my time How greaddy they are its unnecessary aftet all we pay already how much more you want to scamm out us and the app its not that great either but really the adds everything has adds its so pathetic Not worthy of my money and there s other sources of business news outher as well

Abysmal Customer support Truly unbelievable for a so called professional organisation
I just called Bloomberg using the contact number on the website 44 20 7330 7500 The call was immediately taken by the dopiest guy I have spoken to in months He was clueless completely unprepared unsupported and didn t have any idea what I was talking about All I needed was a ticker symbol for a particular bond so that I could get a graph quote on the website Pretty basic stuff He had no access to second line or specialist support Poor guy working from home unqualified for the role and dumped in it by the Company Hard to believe that this is the abysmal quality of Bloomberg s first line support
