Autism Training

I walked in to this class not knowing much about Autism but came away with much more knowledge on how to deal with individuals on the spectrum Would recommend this class to anyone

Extremely beneficial

This training was extremely beneficial I have worked with individuals with disabilities for over 20 years and still learned so much from this training Jerry is so passionate about this and it definitely shows I would even recommend this for parents and family members of individuals with Autism

Training

This training definitely went above and beyond my expectations Although I am over a 911 dispatch center and this was more geared towards LEO and Fire Rescue I was able to bring back a lot of helpful information to my dispatchers It assists with questions to ask when a missing person with Autism is reported and we do a lot with the public and children school groups so we can have a better understanding if approached by someone with Autism

Great subject matter

This was a very informative and interesting course and subject Capt Turning gave an awesome presentation in a manner which was clearly understood There is much to be gained by having this information

The webinar was amazing Captain Turning presented a side of Autism that only a parent could provide and as a first responder it is so important to understand the entire spectrum of autism I feel so better equipped when needed to provide a search and rescue for an autistic person I highly recommend this webinar The information is priceless

Great information great presentation I really liked how the training was presented It was easy to follow and the examples that were given made it interesting and easy to absorb the information Captain Turning really did a great job with this

Captain Turning did a sensational job giving information that will help me to evaluate situations when coming into contact with folks who deal with Autism from a work perspective Further I feel like his personal experience allowed me to become glued into his teaching because it was mostly all first-hand knowledge that he was sharing and he wasn t afraid to get too personal and share even his emotion and shortcomings in situations and how he learned from them I think more importantly this gave me a new perspective not just for work but in life I can now better understand the different aspects of Autism and how it can show in any number of ways It is a great feeling to gain perspective and I feel much better equipped to come into contact with people with Autism in my everyday life I would highly recommend this course to anyone not just emergency responders The lesson is well thought out and covers all topics well This was truly the most informative and I would say best training that I have ever received that I have sought out myself Thank you Captain
