From start to finish the process was excellent From choosing Margot to bringing her home last week I was treated with nothing but respect and kindness Blue Cross do such a fabulous job of rehoming animals of every kind and I would not hesitate to recommend them

Thirsk rehoming experience

I went on the Thirsk website on a Friday evening and applied to look at Lucinda I received a call Saturday morning and met her that afternoon After she bewitched us we decided to adopt and collected her the following Tuesday The staff were very professional pleasant and particularly caring towards Lucinda They also provided advice after we got her home making it all a very rewarding experience

I read many reviews here despite all the criticism I have gratitude for Blue Cross accommodating for my dying cat at New Year s Eve as no vet was open to see him I hope that in the future BCross will have the funding to welcome any pet owner regardless of their financial circumstances We all know how challenging it can be for charities to continue delivering their work I am very very grateful indeed I hope we can volunteer and give back to BC no matter how many flaws they may have

I have nothing but praise for the Thirsk Rehoming centre The whole Rehoming process from start to finish was perfect The cats are in good health we were given their blankets and food to get us going and I d recommend them to anyone

Perfect for a first time pet owner

I was not a pet person but recognised the benefits for my teenage sons The adviser I spoke to asked about our priorities and talked me through the cats she thought would fit with our family Her suggestion was perfect picking him up was easy to arrange and having the chip and medical procedures up to date was a huge bonus The advice on collection was invaluable Our cat makes us very happy and hopefully he is happy too
