Fully automated processes - until it comes to refunds

I ve ordered the wrong product on 30 05 and cancelled the order by e-mail right away hoping to place a new order afterwards Bono nl claimed this wasn t possible since - the order was already shipped I cancelled seconds after placing the order the shipping notification only came in several hours later - the shipping process is automated and I should either recite a script to a postman or accept and return the order bono nl charges for returns I chose to wait for the package to be returned automatically from the pick-up point 14 06 to get my money back - bono nl refuses to process refunds until the package is returned Lo and behold - the webshop has apparently decided to prolong this period until 08 07 the package still sitting in the pick-up point - keeps blocking my money and reserves 2 more weeks after 08 07 to process the refund A dozen of e-mails have the same theme - Until the package is returned and we can verify its status we are unable to process a refund and this is our process Avoid - unless you re paying with Klarna The webshop has agreed not to charge for the return surprise - this isn t one but my money remains blocked EDIT Last contacted by e-shop on 24 06 and today 03 07 after the review - We will proceed with the refund We had not received a further response from you on our last email so no action was taken I d expressed the wish to cancel the order and process the refund in 5 e-mails over the course of 5 weeks receiving answers that led nowhere - replying to customer service to hopefully close this EDIT2 09 07 - confirmed by the carrier BPost that it was the sender bono nl who requested on 21 06 extension of the package in the pick-up point until 08 07 after I ve made it clear in 5 e-mails that I cancelled the order and won t accept the package - and before writing this review Bono nl previously mentioned they don t know why the extension happened and they d look into it haven t heard anything on this point since On 05 07 bono nl offered this We are committed to resolving this issue amicably Let s agree on the following steps We will process the refund In return we kindly request that the negative review be removed - I partly made the purchase based on positive reviews and cannot agree to this request I asked the eshop if the refund is conditional on removal of this review and the answer was no - but the money still isn t back to my account either Note we can t help you reference in the review was replaced with a literal quote of bono nl to remove the inaccurate parts bono nl is very responsive in e-mails unfortunately not so much in actions
