I contacted Bonobos African Safari Holidays through their Request a Quote portal on their website I was looking for an itinerary to do Trekking with Gorillas in both Uganda and Rwanda on a 10-day Luxury accommodation tour My initial email exchanges with Enid Zige went very well She put together a custom itinerary that was exactly what we were looking for When it was time for the invoice and deposit someone the scammer somehow intercepted her invoice email and changed the bank information THE EMAIL ADDRESS I WAS COMMUNICATING WITH NEVER CHANGED Unfortunately I paid the deposit of more than 13 000 US Dollars from that invoice When I contacted Zige when I felt concerned she informed me she did not receive the deposit She sent me her invoice and sure enough it had different bank information than the original one I received and paid from I was out of my paid deposit Here is the worse part After one conversation video chat with Enid Zige owner of Bonobos African Safari Holidays she completely stopped communicating with me I tried multiple times to get her to respond but she never has I do not know how this happened but it seems that maybe it was an inside job from her tour company Both the Scammers bank and Bonobos African Safari Holidays bank are on the same road in Kampala Uganda I sent her the Scammers bank information name and phone number and she has refused to communicate and help resolve my loss The purpose of this email and or review is to simply make people aware of what happened to me so hopefully it will not happen to someone else
