Sucks
Sucks They replaced lenses for me before no problem Now all of a sudden they cannot fill my prescription anymore it is too much for them apparently But guess what They do not bother to tell me this My frames were received at their site more than a week ago and I call today to find out the ETA for the relensing and THEN is when they tell me they cannot do it Mind you they have had my frames for over a week So if I never called I wonder what year I would have heard from them that they were not up to the task They do not bother to tell you on the website either that they cannot handle your prescription They want you to make sure that you waste your time and gas THEN they will let you know that it is too much and ONLY after YOU call them So annoyed I sent in multiple friggin frames and was looking forward to them being relensed Now I have to look for another place

This is a crap shoot
A while back I placed an order with Boomerang and everything went smoothly and in a timely fashion In June I decided to use their services again I sent them a pair of very expensive frames and heard nothing Apparently the frames were lost in the mail and I received this response We hate to see it although if for any reason these do not arrive to us or they are lost in the mail we would not be liable for the loss of your frames as shown here in our terms and conditions however we would most definitely get you fully refunded for your order and even provide you with a discount at our sister company Liingo Eyewear for some snazzy specs One would think that even if it cost a few dollars more this company would include in-transit insurance Now I ve lost not only one of my favorite frames but also the original lenses Snazzy specs indeed

Damaged my glasses
I think the service is a great idea but they damaged my frames significantly They were returned with cracks all around the lenses and were loose on my head When I complained they told me to take them to a local Eyewear store to have them adjusted and Boomerang would give me up to 25 Sorry but 25 cannot fix all the cracks in two pairs of Ray Bans Good business idea horribly incompetent business execution

waste of time and money
takes about a month from the moment you order lenses get the box to mail in your frames until the return of your glasses In addition to this customer service doesn t listen and after wasting nearly 2 months messing with these fools I will now take my frames to my regular optician to get lenses that work for me

An abject and utter FAIL
My experience with boomerang was horrible and will not be repeated I sent him two pairs of expensive Tom Ford frames to be lensed and it was a comedy of errors I waited two months to get my order because it got lost in the shuffle at Boomerang I was asked to provide my PD number four separate times it took two months to get my order in which the lenses were put in the wrong glasses and one of the lenses was completely wrong due to an error on their part I sent the frames back for the lenses to be switched and re-ground and the quality is terrible Also one of the pairs of frames came back wobbly and stretched due to their van handling of it I wasn t charge anything by boomerang due to all of their errors

I sent them two pairs of glasses The first came back missing the eyepads The second were completely broken Their solution was to offer me a pair from their sister company Liingo Liingo has a very limited selection and nothing that vaguely resembles the pair they destroyed

Horrible experience
Horrible experience over 2 months It turns out they broke my frames only a year old designer and they never told me until I finally got someone to answer after my emailing and calling They said they would order and replace the same designer frames sent me a photo of them When I received them they were different frames I m in the process of canceling payment with my credit card for 150 00 lenses Will cost me 350 00 to replace my original frames This has be going on for two months I wish someone would have warned me not to use this company

Scam Don t send them your expensive frame
If you send them cheap frames they will fix and send it back to you BUT do not send them expensive frames They will keep it and tell you it was lost in the mail and they are not responsible for it They send me a tracking number and I called the post office the post office told me the tracking number was created but the package was never shipped Save your frame and you money and don t use them not worth it
