I have lost 50 because of BoostyI sent a paypal payment of 50 to an artist to buy an adopt The page said there was an error and that the payment didn t go through I gave up after attempting multiple times to send the money and told the artist that they could give the adopt to the second highest bidder After a couple of minutes my dad calls me and tells me he accepted a payment of 50 on his bank account i was using my dad s because my boyfriend s didn t seem to work either and I was so confused because boosty said it didn t go through I asked the artist if they received a donation of 50 and they said no So where did the 50 go I tried contacting them but boosty said that they couldn t help me and to talk with my bank about it This time i tried one more time with an artist and I let them know about the problem i have with boosty and they let me make a donation of 1 first to see if they received it and the same happened artist didn t receive payment and I don t know where my money is going I should have contacted my dad s bank back then but he didn t want to help me I did pay the 50 he lost to him on cash They do not provide good customer service and I have no idea why this happens to me only or maybe it does to other few people but I do not trust boosty to send artist money it almost feels like a scam

SCAM ALERT

waited too long them to respond and they said to withdraw 600 wait 90 DAYS because IT WAS SUSPICIOUS I wanted to know what is suspicious what I did wrong They never answer This is awful I have expenses and I need this money LOOKS LIKE A SCAM

No protection for the customer even when boosty is at fault

This site has no protection for the customer I ve gotten scammed by people selling commissions and or adoptables and theirs is no way of getting a refund if you try to dispute it they ll just block your card and account This time I was going to commission my favorite artist I ve been working with for almost 3 years and respect the so much I donated 200 for the commission but it popped up saying that the payment didn t go through so once again try to send the 200 and this time it works Little did I know that the first attempt ALSO worked So I ended up sending a total of 400 Both me and the artist contacted the website for a refund yet they said the refunds are not possible even if the payment was an error So even if this Boosty themselves caused this error and took my money when they said the payment didn t go through they will not give you a refund Horrendous company and website Don t use it if you can try and find another way to support your artist that don t involve supporting this website

Account blocked subscription continued

My account was blocked and the service did not inform me in any way Of course my subscription was not cancelled it continued to be drawn I would not recommend this service even to people I severely disliked stay far away

DO NOT USE Russian scammers Moved a decimal point and charged me 600 for a 60 commission and because it s charged through PayPal as a donation sketchy as heck you get no buyer protection When I complained they replied that complaints were a violation of their terms of service and locked my account then lied to the artist and said I had refused a refund They also took the money from the artist and charged them a fee and intended to keep all the money I had to go through my bank to get it back It easily could have been 6000 instead DO NOT USE

Low quality

I don t recommend to use their service Very inexperienced support which is not trying to keep the customer long-term and not trying to understand the root cause of the issue You will have a better luck talking to ChatGPT Specifically I had an issue with the payment and ended up with locked account I contacted the content creator which also hasn t received the funds Luckily the content creator has resolved the issue outside of the platform

Donations cannot be refunded if scammed

I donated money to an artist on Boosty and ended up getting scammed Never got my commission that I paid for months later Nearly half a year went by and I tried to resolve it but Boosty doesn t do refunds when it comes to that since it counts as a donation STEER CLEAR I will never be doing a commission through Boosty again because of this
