I am writing to say what a pack of tight arses the Bank of Queensland are only paying 12 cents a share for dividends when they send out statements asking for our dividends to be given to a charity just so the bank can look good in the eyes of the public and big note themselves I bet the board did not miss out on their dividends SHAME on you BOQ SHAME SHAME

Untrustworthy Held up a loan application for nearly 3
Held up a loan application for nearly 3 months gave approval then said no due to a standard building clause build Blamed the Valuer which we confirmed was untrue They tell lies are misleading A Bank not to be trusted

Be Very Very Careful about BOQ
I don t know where to begin They are the most dishonest conniving lender I have had the displeasure to deal with They are extremely deceptive they will not give you anything in writing This is because it s easier for them to change their story later and waste all your precious time They will go out of their way to prevent you from saving like asking you to reapply for refinancing when the repayments were going to considerably lower on the new deal They want you to stay on the highest possible repayments So before you use this lender read the real reviews and do your du diligence Honestly only an idiot would use BOQ after reading these reviews and testimonials I can t wait till I m free of these blood sucking scum bags Decaying scum is better than BOQ and its staff

Hopeless and useless BoQ No concern in time of grief
We have phoned Bank of Queensland 8 times today trying to get correct and consistent information regarding the process of a Deceased Estate I have been hung up on at least 4 times given conflicting information by different service truly a misnomer because there is NO service agents wasted over 3 hours of time and been sent a Claim of Assets form via email that does NOT download Despite the call centre supposedly being open until 8pm early this afternoon we were told that no-one is available from the Deceased Estate team to help us Shame on you Bank of Queensland for making a difficult time more stressful and upsetting than it ever should be Shame shame shame

Never ever EVER engage with the Bank of
Never ever EVER engage with the Bank of Queensland for ANYTHING particularly a home loan Our broker recommended this bank and it has been the biggest regret of my entire life They are the most untrustworthy dodgy incompetent incapable company I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with Multiple complaints constant discrepancies huge changes in our home loan throughout the application process thousands of dollars taken without an explanation despite multiple attempts for clarity Im amazed they re legally allowed to operate Avoid this bank at all costs

Most unloyal bank I have ever dealt with
I have banked with BOQ for 22 years and in that time financed everything I have through them I just went to refinance through them again and was told I didn t meet the banks requirements Apparently it would put me in financial stress Refinanced through another lender actually borrowed more and am 1400 per month better off So much for looking after loyal customers and their app is pathetic

Warning stay away for overseas transfers
Warning Warning Warning do not lose your Money doing money exchange transfer to overseas countries with this Bank of Queensland they are around to 2 more expensive than the other banks not competitive I lost a lot of money and they changed for the transfer awel adding it in to total money wired so you even pay more Stay are away I requested a phone call about 5 times Or i have to wait at around 30 minutes I am taking about management in head office very poor budgets for customer service for calls and a primitive AppOn a positive note A big 10 10 to the dedicated assistant at the counter this review is dedicated management

Doing a re-rate with BOQ
Doing a re-rate with BOQ the new rate reduces our repayments Have just been emailed asking for payslips loans credit cards and a monthly budget because the loan term is being reduced by 12 months Now I m being told they need all the information again to prove We can afford to pay less money to BOQ for the loan This isnt the first issue we have had with them

Do not deserve a rating trying to get someone on their 24 hour service what a joke left phone on speaker was waiting over 50 mins no one answered kept trying no one there Really took a duplicate payment out of my bank trued to ring the branch on Monday they also are not answering their phone haha I m going to pull out absolutely hopeless

Go anywhere else if you can
Seriously folks There is a reason why this bank offers a fairly good home loan interest rate- its because they havent spent anything on their internet banking services since the Dark Ages Takes ages for money to transfer in between BOQ and non BOQ accounts Their internet banking app is very very basic Plus their home loan application process is long unnecessarily pedantic like refusing a document because it had my address as 160 xyz Rd instead of 160-168 duh Both are legal No online signing of documents and even the settlement process is slow Im going to sit out a year with them seeing as tho I swapped for a better interest rate and then Im out
