Unable to write review on Bose website wrong product sent and Bose customer service response
My husband purchased a Wave Soundtouch Series IV on 26 March 2021 from Bose ie for my birthday It was delivered today On opening the box the product delivered appears not to be the correct package for use in Ireland The manual is in I think Korean but more importantly the power connector is not for use in Ireland and the other accessories included in the box do not match those for use in Europe when compared with what we should have received when we looked at an English language version of the manual online We have used the message facility to contact Bose After 2 hours they said that they would send us a replacement power connector that would take 8-10 days to arrive and they would charge us for it When challenged they then said they wouldn t charge us for it as it was still under warranty When asked if they would send us a transcript of the chat they said that wasn t possible what kind of technology company is this I really wanted to send this email to Bose Customer Service to complain but can t find a way to do so I then wanted to post it as a review on their website but again cannot find a way to do so In their page on the Wave music system they say Just plug it in and you re ready to go Well to make that possible you have to have a means to plug it in

Bose incompetence customer service
Bose I was buying a set of Bose surround sound speakers as a Christmas present for my husband which was supposed to be a surprise I contacted Bose to ask if the product name would be on the outer packaging or if if could be identified in any way I was assured that the product would not be obvious when delivered The package arrived 17 days later in simply the box that I would have received if I bought it in the shop No outer packing And very obviously a set of surround sound speakers And of course it was my husband who answered the door to the courier I contacted Bose to ask why they shipped like this and to express my utter disappointment It s put a huge downer on my Christmas I was told that is how they always ship products But I was told different- if i had known that was the case I would have simply got the box shipped elsewhere So a warning if you are ever buying Bose as a surprise gift it comes in the box displaying what is inside And just to rub salt in the wounds the person I was chatting to said happy holidays Thanks Boss for ruining my Christmas surprise with your incompetence

Terrible Repair service
Oh Dear Bose you may have good sounding speakers but I ll never touch ye again because your repair process and customer service is awful Sent my Bose 600 soundbar off for repair on the 11th of October and 1 month later nothing no update since the 21st of October when you updated to advised your received my item Rang customer service on the 1st of Nov and the person said he thinks I will have an update the following week but he doesn t really know So no update last week and here we are into another week Looks like my only option here is to demand a refund if the repair is not completed by the end of this week and that in itself will be another challenge But EU law states that any faulty item should be repaired in a reasonable amount of time and I think 1 month is time enough Bose dont seem to care either as all the other reviews have no response from the company Once they have your money they stop caring
