Ordered some Altberg Defender boots

Ordered some Altberg Defender boots took my money and then nothing after ringing several times and at first being told they were being readied for dispatch we were finally told they didn t have the boots and would have to order them in all this over a period of nearly 2 weeks Decided on a refund only to be told they hadn t taken the money our bank transactions knew different they argued the point but a refund was duly issued which saved us taking out a Paypal dispute Would NEVER use again

Incompetent at best

Ordered 5 shirts 5 came only two were the correct size colour or type despite many phone calls I ve never received the right shirts or the promised refund Along the way I have been fobbed off avoided and eventually directly lied too Beware this company keeps the money but doesn t provide the goods Customer service is not in their lexicon

If there were zero stars Ordered via the website Got a prompt dispatch email with a Royal Mail tracking number that did not exist No reply to many emails and no answer on the phone Opened a PayPal dispute and got a refund

Advertising items that are not in stock

Advertising items that are not in stock and taking payment straight away Myself and one other person I know of ordered boots that are on their website as in stock Received email confirmation of royal mail dispatch and then a week later was phoned to say no stock and no idea if or when there would be any I Emailed a day later to confirm cancellation of order no reply so phoned them a day later Told they hadn t checked emails but would the next day Still no reply a few days later so have had to raise a PayPal case to try and get my money back

Terrible customer service do not follow customer requests

Ordered some haix boots unworn and cracking boots highly recommended boots however order army navy and airforce jumpers Two came packaged up and very good quality however the raf one looked like it had been dragged through a hedge and had big hole in it and not banged up immediately thought someone had thrown there old one in and taken mine during packing The site says email for returns I spent a week emailing never got a reply then rang and was told I needed to email so did again again no response so called again and was told to pack up item saying if wanted replacement or refund told them every time I called I wanted a replacement and my postage refunding as it was there fault I put this all in the letter when returning the jumper I got my postage refunded however they also refunded the jumper cost and washed there hands of it I should have received a replacement jumper at there cost to post out again as it was there fault sending faulty item I had paid for the postage on my original order and as such they were obliged to honour there agreement to send a replacement and refund my postage for returning the item they sent faulty as they don t do return labels But no they wanted to simply forget the whole thing was looking to order more items after they posted swiftly the boots are great two jumpers good but there terrible customer service when something is sent out faulty despite saying on there site nothing will have holes in them So won t deal with again appalling

Items to send to Ukraine never arrived

A Ukrainian friend ordered items from British Military Surplus to send to her husband who is in the Ukrainian army It was a really important order to her both because of its content and because of the money involved The goods were ordered in November and never arrived It was very difficult to get the company on the phone When eventually I did a very helpful man took the order number and said that we should hear back within days That was two weeks ago and we have heard nothing Now the phone is not being answered again

Item sent was not as described and no answer to emails phonecalls

Really disappointing experience with British Military Surplus Field Textiles I ordered and paid for MTP Warm Weather Trousers and a pair arrived but they were a couple of sizes smaller than I d ordered and had been described on the order form and invoice Since purchase they have failed to answer multiple emails and phone calls Avoid

Horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous company to deal with if there are any queries Had item missing from first order never replied to any communication 2nd order was a disaster sent 2 waterproof jackets instead of jacket trousers my son goes to camp tomorrow Never get a reply to emails and never answer the phone - shocking Would rather pay over the odds on eBay than chance anything of these again
