Budgetic billed my card twice for a single subscription and getting the duplicate reversed was a slog. Multiple emails, one ignored entirely, and only after mentioning a chargeback did the money reappear roughly three weeks later. The actual software works okay when you can access it, but billing reliability matters more than features in my book. Given the similar complaints documented on this page, keep records of every payment if you use them.

UPDATE FOLLOWING REPLY RECEIVED BY BUDGETIC I dispute that I enrolled on any trial with you 3 days or otherwise I believe this is part of a scam that originated on FB where people were told they could purchase a backpack from Osprey who were selling off their old stock for 3 a bag 3 days after card details were provided 41 was taken from my card I did not authorise this payment and certainly did not receive an email as you claim confirming any registration or subscription details When I did noticed the 41 payment I contacted my bank to let them know I had never heard of you and only since realised the fraudulent connection with the 3 payment for the backpack which strangely has never materialised either To add with respect your services are not something I would ever even consider and I certainly would not sign up for a subscription Without any information received by email or otherwise I instructed my bank to cancel my bank card assuming that you would fraud a much bigger payment from me if I didn t act fast This has inconvenienced me as I had to wait over a week for my new bank card to arrive so I could continue to use it You have asked for me to forward to you information if I believe that membership was obtained in a fraudulent manner The problem with that as I have mentioned is precisely that nothing at all was received except for the fact that you took 41 from me which was not authorised but which you are not disputing so I have no information to forward to you You have also requested that I remove or update my review to avoid any reputational damage but in the circumstances my review below remains Even if I were to remove it there are so many near identical 1 star reviews provided that I don t think removing my review will save your reputation ORIGINAL POST Like many other reviewers have recently reported I had my credit card information comprimised by this organisation and they have also stolen 41 from me and I have no idea who they are but says they are a digital media books company based in Cyprus I had to cancel my credit card in case they try to steal any more Beware of this fraudulent company

Fraud website This new website based in Cyprus has been setup so that card details stolen from other places can be used to set up a fake subscriptions here Due to the way it is done banks may be forced to honour the payments

Scam Fraudulent company Original link was for lidl mystery boxes Upon you making a payment they then take out 8 00 followed by 41 Please don t fall for this scam like I did I just really hope that they can t take anymore money out of my bank card has been cancelled This scam has been reported to police and action fraud

SCAM BEWARE Any positive reviews on here are fake I paid 2 to a Facebook add for some makeup and have later discovered that they have been taking randomPayments from m account After calling my bank they have said Iv been signed up to a subscription service with a budgetting company They have taken over 70 from my account in less than a month Edit To your reply You know full well it was taken in a fraudulent manner I never signed up to anything or gave any permission for money to be leaving my account I have emailed you and you have responded saying you have cancelled the subscription that I never signed up to but no offer of my money to be refunded I will be reporting you to the financial ombudsman office of fair trading and the police False Advertising and representation by pretending people are getting some kind of bargain they give you their bank details to make payment and then you sign them up to a budgeting subscription service and take loads of random amount from peoples accounts Why would someone in the uk pay a budgeting company over 70 a month that are based in Thailand

I bought a railcard on facebook and ended up subscribed to this company s services I ve had to contact my bank to cancel my debit card to avoid extortionate recurring charges

I used a Facebook link to buy a bargain train ticket but the payment details turned out to have been to budgetic which I have no knowledge of or intention to join or need of I have cancelled my membership the same day i e today so should be in the 3 day trial period I have asked for confirmation that my subscription has been cancelled and hope that the company fulfils it s promise to refund all payments I have contacted my bank to stop any payments and they confirmed that it was a scam
