If your expecting Christina is your lady

I cannot speak highly enough of Christina and the incredible care she provided during my pregnancy From our very first appointment she was warm attentive and extremely knowledgeable She took the time to listen to all my concerns answer my questions and ensure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way Throughout my pregnancy Christina provided personalised care that made me feel truly supported She was always available for advice and reassured me during moments of uncertainty Her expertise and calm demeanor were invaluable especially as my due date approached I cannot recommend Christina enough x

One of a kind

From the very beginning Christina was professional but also like a friend - finding the right balance Nothing was too much trouble As it was our first pregnancy neither of us knew what to expect Christina was very knowledgeable and provided us with all the information needed to make informed decisions No question was too silly Looking back at my pregnancy I can 100 say that I had the best support from Christina If you are looking for a midwife that will provide you with the best emotional and physical care then she is your person I cannot recommend her enough

Christina is a fantastic midwife from day one she was warm and welcoming Making me a very nervous mum to be feel relaxed She answered any questions myself or my partner had We also booked a hypnobirthing course It was very informative even if I didn t make it to the end of the course before giving birth where we were given brilliant advice and techniques to help with our birth As a first time mum I was made to feel relaxed and confident the whole time and would highly recommend Christina as a midwife

From the very first time I met Christina I felt at ease and relaxed No question ever seemed too small or silly and believe me I had a lot of questions with our first Christina supported us through our pregnancies the birth of both our boys and postnatally including breastfeeding support with our eldest For me the continuity of having the same person for all appointments and during labour was important because then I was able to relax and trust my body to birth my babies without having to build a relationship with a new person She knew us knew what we wanted and was able to support us to achieve our wishes Christina supported us through hypnobirthing and has such a calm manner when you are labouring that you can t help but relax which really helps the endorphins flow Although our birth preferences slightly deviated due to meconium with our first and a speedy home birth with our second meaning we didn t fill the pool in time we had two very empowering births and the fact that they didn t exactly follow our ideal births really didn t matter because they were the right births on the day and we were supported by an incredible midwife I tell everyone I loved giving birth - and it s true Thank you for making our experiences so positive Christina

I wouldn t have wanted anyone else by my side

I don t know if I ll ever have quite enough words or thanks for Christina I opted for a home birth after speaking in lengths with various people I am so pleased I put my trust in the home birth process and had Christina with me as she made the entire process so calm and I was so lucky to have her there to deliver my boy My birth was so positive compared to my previous birth and I truly believe that s because I had Christina here I faced some obstacles during labour but they were obstacles I wasn t made to worry about the entire environment was so calming and Christina made me feel so positive and empowered the entire way through and moments later she delivered my little boy safely I did have to transfer to hospital straight away which I was completely fine about but I really wanted my mum to meet my baby before she went to Southampton to start her radiotherapy Christina made sure that happened for me and my mum was able to come and visit us in the delivery ward I ll never be able to thank her enough for this as my mum passed away shortly after but she was the first person to meet him I am pregnant again and the only person I d want by my side from start to finish is Christina and her care experience knowledge understanding Her aftercare with feeding and healing is second to none I ll always remember how experienced she is What a fantastic midwife

Christina is truly amazing

I attended one of Christina s hypnobirthing classes back in 2023 in preparing for the birth of my son I suffer with an anxiety disorder and approaching birth I was absolutely terrified I knew I had to do something to ease my fears Christina didn t just ease my fears and worries she ignited this passionate excitement within me about my birth I went from being terrified about going into labour to not being able to wait for the day I d go into labour Before hypnobirthing with Christina I d spend hours envisioning the worst case scenario that could happen and after I d spend so much time fantasising about my dream birth When the day finally came I was 41 5 and had declined inductions and sweeps many times - Christina taught me the skills to be able to advocate for my own body and baby I felt strong and powerful within my own decisions I couldn t be coerced or pressured I went into labour and felt pure excitement During my birth hypnobirthing allowed me to approach decisions and make the right ones for me and my baby It allowed me to stay positive and open minded when things didn t go to plan Without Christina the end of my pregnancy my labour and my birth would have been completely different - I am SO grateful for the knowledge and support I received Even nearly 8 months postpartum the skills I learnt from Christina still help me on a daily basis - the breathing techniques learnt for labour help my anxiety disorder so much I d recommend Christina to anyone who is ready to take their pregnancy and birth experience into their own hands to make it something truly magical

Friendly calm and informative

I did a hypnobirthing course with Christina back in November Christina has bags of experience and made you feel very calm and was very informative Nothing was too much to ask she even made you feel at ease for asking silly questions You can see the passion Christina has for midwifery and making sure you can have the best birth imaginable Good sense of humour too which is absolutely needed
