What a joke
What a joke Purchased a business at the end of August 24 and still trying to gain access to their HSBC account on 11th November 24 Have now sent 4 separate bank mandates and still no access Business banking team are really unhelpful and as soon as I get access we will close the account and move to another bank Please avoid if you re looking to setup business banking

This bank is a joke
This bank is a joke I wanted to set up a business account there and the conditions for acceptance appeared One of the points contained a list of countries subject to a ban on cooperation One of the countries on this list was China I asked a question in the chat what was going on The consultant replied that China is a forbidden country because it is subject to restrictions So I ask what restrictions and who established them And imagine that this person replied that these are government restrictions So I ask this genius how on earth you can easily shop with AliExpress Temu and make transfers from any other bank without a problem since these are government restrictions He disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a statement that he had checked and indeed these are only restrictions of HSBC bank I don t know whether to laugh or cry Embarrassing bank It s not even about the consultant s incompetence but why the bank created restrictions on financial exchange with one of the largest and most important countries in the world probably only they know

they suddenly charged me 6 every time
they suddenly charged me 6 every time I am receiving a paymentI opened an intrernational wallet then realised I wasn t needing any close it over the phone I lost more than an hour over the phone I had to call several time the person I taled to asked me to wait as he has other phones calls more important in between than told me all was back to normal he removed the international payment limit and that all was fine One moth later I realised they are still charging me 6 every time I am receiving a payment SO I haven t been well advised

Run away from HSBC business account
This bank is still running like traditional method and everything from customer service to solving simple problem takes ages and with people working there not bothered at all Running away from this

Awful firm
Awful firm New bank cards that had old email addresses from a near decade ago attached to them for 2 step constantly being rung at my phone to talk to another director endless cycle of account managers Anything and everything requires forms which are often lost and you only know this when you come to find nothing has changed When we moved bank HSBC removed all access to our online services and sent us several years of statements in hard copy It s been five months and they ve yet to remove their debenture despite nothing being owed finding anyone to talk to about it is near impossible Phone security is absurd asking anyone of a mid sized firm what X transaction was a few days ago - mad Honestly cannot warn folks off their commercial service enough Was different when we were carrying debt but since it was cleared they have been singularly unhelpful

Dreadful for business banking
It s difficult to overstate how frustrating it is dealing with HSBC Business Banking While their customer services team are usually utterly useless it appears the entire structure of the bank s systems and processes are designed to frustrate its customers It s a big bank with lots of financial security but when you need any level of banking services they fail miserably Avoid

One of the worst Business banking Cutting off the staffs from local branches which gives you no chance to sort out things by face-to-face conversations Has to depend on internet banking for even the slightest changes Very long waiting time over the phone and gets cutoff before even sorting things out Never again
