Excellent customer service
I recently contacted customer services last week as my garmin stopped working James answered within seconds and was professional and polite throughout the call He checked with his manager and organised a replacement which I received today Will definitely continue to recommend garmin and found their customer service department excellent

Fantastic customer service
Have a 2yr old venu bought from John Lewis and in the last month my buckle strap has caused me a rash which is unbearably itchy As it was driving me crazy I contacted garmin to find out what the buckle may contain and if it was coated in some anti allergenic compound that perhaps wears off after 2 years The watch itself is AMAZING and the original strap is in great condition after 2 years continous wear Long story short I ve in about 36 hours had 2 emails from them asking for info and photos in the first message and then offering an explanation of the problem I have likely got Nickle allergy and the standard buckle contains trace amounts of Nickle with useful tips to improve the situation and an offer to send me a Nickle free strap free of charge as a gesture of goodwill I m so happy as hopefully this will allow me to wear this watch without problems again and if the strap is as good as my old one it can be transferred to my next watch which will for sure be garmin too Meanwhile i have since had my mother confirm that Nickle allergy runs in our family and that hot weather makes it worse This explains the timing sudden onset of the problem as I ve only reacted to the strap since this recent heatwave So not only good watch care but dermatologist advice too

Purchased the Garmin bc40 wireless
Purchased the Garmin bc40 wireless reverse camera Screen cracked after two months for no reason at all Never had this issue with previous aftermarket cameras I ve used Obviously made from cheap materials When I made a complaint to Garmin they advised I d need to pay a further 81 53 for a replacement which is an absolute joke Don t buy awful product awful customer service

Garmin Bad taste
Garmin s customer service is disappointing Despite their firmware update ruining my Dash Cam Mini they refuse to offer a fair replacement Offering a measly 50 discount for an old replacement cam or 30 off a new cam instead of taking responsibility is unacceptable Their poor handling of this issue has left me with a useless device and a bad taste in my mouth Avoid them

AVOID Don t buy from Garmin If you buy a product and less than 12 months later it is found to be defective they refuse to give you a replacement product Instead they will offer you a refurbished unit Or if you flatly refuse the refurbished unit they will offer you a refund so long as you return the product with all its packaging and cables posted as a track item at your cost Oh they will reimburse you the cost of sending it tracked but so long as you email them again details for a refund Zero customer service profitsb4people

Terrible operating model
My subscription ended My device is still paired with my email I m trying to reactivate my subscription before i hike the Swiss alps alone tomorrow and they ve locked my device for what reason I m logged in I m entering the correct IMEI and auth code the account still shows the device so WHY am I having to verify it and now reach out to get it unlocked And their customer service center is closed on weekends when most people would need them Horrible website useless app and horrible customer service experience I ll be looking into other options after this trip
