This company doesn t even deserve one star but there is no other option They are a disgrace and wish I had never even bothered reaching out to them to help with my complaint I was treated unfairly by LeasePlan who lied and scammed to get extra money DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Very biased towards rental companies Dealing with an issue and won t investigate until letter of deadlock provided Very opaque with dealing and would not provide any communications had with rental company This is despite me providing them with all the written proof Will have to resolve with small claims court as this company is farce

To inform you in return the named driver has been submitted to enterprise as you were not clear on the call on who that consent was to be emailed to Your callers were on very friendly terms with Claire O meara at enterprise as per the phone call which calls for concern for a customer as a conflict of interest You also have not addressed inappropriate comments as mentioned in my previous post Thanks Josh

It is just a complete waste of time
It is just a complete waste of time Transparently an exercise to distract from how bad the business practices of UK rental car companies are Don t bother with them if you can avoid it Update Their response does not address a whole host of relevant issues E g BVRLA made their judgment before even receiving the evidence they needed to justify the level of charges They also accepted an invoice dated 30 September 2021 as the key piece of evidence -- the rental was in May 2022 I wonder if they even looked at the paperwork before making their judgment

Not even worthy of 1 star As all the other reviews state - don t even bother BVRLA failed to investigate my complaint properly and with any neutrality They are a biased industry funded body and their investigations reflect that I have since got my money back anyway through a credit card recharge The industry is in urgent need of reform and regulation to halt the fraudulent activity within the sector BVRLA are not the solution and will waste your time with their unprofessional and inadequate investigations- go straight to your credit card and use charge back or section 75 as this biased industry body will not help only hinder If I could give less than 1 I would

BVRLA took clear sides with the rental company at no point was my complaint against the hire company treated fairly with an open mind it was biased from the start and they cancelled the complaint very quickly despite irrefutable evidence given to them they denied the facts i gave them and their subsequent responses were not credible it was a deeply upsetting experience to contact the rental industry ombudsman and be treated with such open bias extremely disappointing behaviour BVRLA currently have 90 ONE STAR NEGATIVE RATING on here

Only picked one star because it won t let me pick none This complaint are just as disgusting as Ubqeeo Imagine lying and telling someone bare faced that you were letting someone use your account but don t give no evidence it s pathetic and now I have to take every single person to court just to show these disgusting companies that you will not get away with lying on me Karma remember it goes to everyone

Don t waste time on BVRLA
Used Bvrla on two occasions and both times dealt with poorly Latest occasion they accepted the word of Arnold Clark whilst basically calling me a liar Challenged their initial response and they just support their own team in favour of any one but myself Offered evidence to support my case to them and they weren t not interested More interested in supporting rental companies can only imagine this provides them some sort of financial incentive More interested in telling you you ve exhausted the procedure and can t go any further

Would give a 0 if I could
Just look at all the other reviews Do not bother engaging with this supposedly independent service They are clearly in collusion with their members who pay levies to fund their organisation I sent through extracts of the leasing companies own T Cs and screenshots of guides the website etc to support my claim These were not used in the original investigation because they didn t come through even though I sent through on the portal and followed up via email Like all the other cases I ve read the BVRLA side with the WORD of the lease company and not the EVIDENCE provided by the consumer In my case they were quoting back wording from screenshots in bold that DIDN T exist in the screenshot They completely ignored and failed to address the fact I was using Lex s own T Cs to support my case Absolutely shocking but not surprising given the other reviews on here
