This company should be investigated They twice sought to collect money I do not owe for E-On but when I called to dispute their claim they were unconcerned I also called E-on who confirmed I owe nothing With so many complaints against this company something must be done to get them to account for their practices Disgraceful

WORST COMPANY EVER

My Advice to anyone who receives correspondence from BW legal would be don t speak to them If possible contact the company they say they are acting for yourself My experience was an outstanding bill from British gas mistakenly produced when BG moved to a new billing system In my opinion BW legal are only interested in getting money from you and not trying to resolve the dispute In my experience I found them very intimidating They ignored evidence I sent them Funnily enough I sent the same evidence to BG and they fully understood and agreed with me and are in the process of fixing it Don t waste you time and energy with this company I ve written to BG and my local MP to complain about this awful company

BritishGas bwlegal not CHECKING details

bwlegal is but legal Without any proof and investigation they start harassing me This company has been haunting me for a year British Gas is their client who passed on someone else s unpaid bills at my address

BW Legal Leeds scammers

They issued a letter claiming I owed British Gas 85 for an unpaid bill BG have never supplied my addess past or present It s a scam I guess some people may pay up even though they don t owe any money to any company What a despicable way to get revenue under false pretences I had to prove I did not owe the money by sending my past bill from my energy supplier Now they have my personal data Scum

Can we report BWLegal to police

My daughter twice received letters from BWLegal address to her at our new home asking to pay monies owed to from the previous home address that my wife and I owned and already sold in October 2023 Account fully paid nothing owed My daughter lived with us because she was our dependant at that time The account was under my name How the stupid BWLegal know my daughter s name and our new address I have no clue Can we REPORT this dodgy company to the police

BW LEGAL ARE CRIMINALS

My daughter has been chased for 6 months by BW Legal They are trying to force her to pay for electricity charges relating to British Gas that do not relate to her They are intimidating and refuse to acknowledge proof of her innocence and have made her life hell This continues with threats of legal action etc etc I have written to British Gas the Ombudsman and Watch Dog today to see if they can help I did consider just paying the money 600 even though she definitely doesn t owe anything to British Gas - just to get rid of them but when I rang today they would not guarantee that there would be no further claims to pay BW LEGAL should be shut down Disgusting company

threatening letter -SCAM

Just had threatening letter demanding payment of gas bill for last year from house we sold over ten years ago Building doesn t even have gas supply Long conversation with them where they demanded we proved we had sold the flat

How do these people live with themselves

Just as for other reviews BW Legal use threatening letters to try to intimidate people into paying bills which they aren t liable for In my case they threatened my partner - who had never even had an account with British Gas BG for their part had added to debt to my credit record that they d never contacted me about and for an address I didn t live at - but at least they reversed this when I discovered it

Giving up

I finally caved to the legal threats and have posted a payment although I don t think it s right I can t afford paying legal fees if it went to court Their extortion wore me down In the hospice all I wanted was all my affairs to be in order so I don t leave a mess
