Communication leaves a lot to be desired
Ordered on April 1st for delivery by April 7-9th Emailed on 7th to say the order was delayed and they wouldn t be sending order until a one bit of the order was available I had ordered this for a time sensitive project Replied on 8th asking them to send the order without the missing bit asap Gave them my mobile number so they could phone Having told then to get the order to me asap they replied on 9th at 11am asking if I wanted them to send the order 24hr tracked but to answer by 3 30pm Not everyone can check their email during the day so I didn t get the message Why couldn t they phone me I would cancel but then have no chance of getting what I want even close to in time Reviews are all about how fast they deliver Not in my case and communication very poor

Not a great experience with this company
Not a great experience with this company My delivered fabric was seriously flawed They did offer to take a look for a potential return or exchange but it really shouldn t have been dispatched in the first place I guess they have no outgoing quality control

No order received and nothing done
I placed an order on 21st July for Fabric for my wedding - I received an email to state the item had been delivered which it had not I made contact with Calicolaine straight away and they fobbed me off that they where raising a complaint investigation with royal mail - then nothing so sent several emails for updates they pick and choose when they reply They sent me royal mail tracking proof - which did not prove my house or a picture of my house no signature and now they will not do nothing I have no order and no refund

Awful customer service
Awful customer service ordered curtain eyelets to alter a customers curtains After 5 weeks and contacting them several times there was still no delivery and they kept fobbing me off After 6 weeks I had reached the point where I had an angry customer and Calico were ignoring my request for a refund I ordered the items from another supplier who delivered next day but I m still without a refund from Calico despite them agreeing to it and me questioning several times why it still has not been put through It is now 8 weeks since the order and still no refund

Delayed shipment and rude staff
I made an order on Monday morning and paid for first class delivery as the project im working on is urgent Order has not shipped and it s now Wednesday Spoke on the phone and the lady was rude and un willing to rectify or help the situation and instead offered to just cancel the order

Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service Ordered material with matching lining and thread The lining sent was not even close to the colour of the fabric and the thread was so different in colour it just couldn t be used I contacted them and they told me that as the material was cut to size it could not be returned and that the thread was the closest colour they had which was ridiculous There are a lot more colours that are much closer A bottle green thread is miles away from a teal green I do a lot of sewing and I certainly won t be using them again

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY Purchased fabric online and it was never sent contacted them numerous times via email and nobody replied until I threatened to contact my bank turns out they didn t have stock in the first place so I ve been waiting for nothing Atrocious customer service I have requested a refund and if I don t receive it by next week I will be contacting my bank and trading standards

This company sent me the wrong fabric They did accept responsibility for their mistake and offered a refund but even though photos were presented of the fabric they d sent which was awful and frayed I was expected to pay postage to return it before receiving the refund This would have been minus what I would have paid to return it So I m stuck with the fabric and 8 00 out of pocket I will not be ordering from this company again

Don t waste your time
Very bad customer service I got an email saying my order is delayed and they would dispatch on the next day due to the stock supply it didn t turn up after one week of waiting Then I sent them email to inquire the process of my order I got a reply saying it will dispatch on the next day again After all the clarifications i was informed they actually have no stock and I need to wait until one month later The staff even put the blame on me I have missed her follow up email which never existed and of course with no apology I requested to cancel my order and I got no respond since then I have no choice but to contact the bank then I got an email from other staff and I got a full refund Very disappointing experience and I would not recommend to order on this website either you prepare yourself with delay no more delivery or a rude customer service when you approach them

I ordered some fabric in October but it didn t arrive I chased twice in November but promises were not fulfilled I asked for a refund in December twice and I wasn t reinbursed til January
