Man Carluex s customer service is amazing I had a little trouble with my gadget and their support team was on it They walked me through the fix so patient and helpful They really know their stuff and are super chill But what s even better - they checked back in to make sure everything was good Seriously - that s customer service It makes me feel really good about my purchase It s not just a great product but having awesome support

Warranty NOT honored
I am a very frustrated early adopter of the PRO Now I find that the company is not supporting it any more and is telling me I should pay full price for the PRO I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND CANNOT RECOMMEND PURCHASES FROM THIS COMPANY The firmware Quality Assurance process seems to be non-existent Several problems 1 After a firmware upgrade the sim card doesn t seem to be read and therefore the location and weather always reflect China not my location Used to work fine Support says they do not work any more Really 2 I am in the US We use mph not kmh So I changed my device to reflect mph Now it says mph but still measures the speed in kmh My speed is 60 mph and the device shows 100 Every time I send a request to support they tell me how to switch to mph but not actually address the problem 3 I cannot get the device to read the memory card except to do the firmware upgrade When I put some files on there it just does not see them 4 I tried the remote to enter credentials on YouTube and other services Ridiculously difficult to control and to manage my car does not have a touch screen 5 After the latest firmware update the device constantly disconnects while I am driving Either Carluex will disconnect completely and eventually reconnect Sometimes it doesn t connect again Or it will disconnect the phone frequently when I am using the phone to navigate The latest problem is that it doesn t start at all when I turn the car on I have to disconnect and reconnect it to get it going again There are other problems that annoying by not critical For instance you can choose your background I did And it stayed for the duration I was driving Then when I get in the car to drive again it switches back to the default background When I go back to choose the one I want I find it is already chosen but doesn t show it until I switch again So basically I have to go through the process of choosing the background every time Annoying why did they make that available if I have to choose it again and again Trivial but annoying All this points out the severe lack of quality assurance and testing of the software before releasing it I have complained several times and asked for help They take forever to answer and usually don t have a clear explanation On the web site they do not support the PRO model any more and they have switched to the PRO Lately they have just ignored me and not replied to the WhatsApp or to email I asked support to send me the PRO as a replacement since I was an early adopter like many on kickstarter They have a one year warranty It was our money that pushed them to finish production of the product Anyway the answer I got was to buy the PRO from the site and they will give me 20 discount --- 20 Really I spent 200 and I have no assurance that the PRO would work They would not even credit the 200 to the price of the PRO They just expect me to spend more money on this at full price--more or less I can find devices on amazon for under 100 to handle the CarPlay This is not a reputable company unfortunately And this is the nature of investing in startups like this I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND CANNOT RECOMMEND PURCHASES FROM THIS COMPANY I had several chats with support to help me and to negotiate a price for the PRO but they will not budge I am very sad to have to post this negative review

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYGot my carluex air 2nd April 2024 no user manual not a good start so i contacted support told me to update the unit updating the unit doesn t give you a user manual eventually got it all set up on the same day all loojed good youtube working sndriod auto working all seems ok then i go for a drive then it starts disconecting when driving having to stop all the time to get it all set back up then ot starts overheating so on the 3rd April 2024 i asked for return address still one week later and several emails no return address when they do reply all they say is update it i want to return it becouse its faulty and they won t give return address kerp away from this company unless you like to chuck money away because thats all you will do and customer care is no help at all i have asked my bank to intervene and my payment has been frozen

All Lies very poor quality for this super expensive product
Within few days of using I encountered many issues with the quality of the product I did all the software updates until today 05 may 2024 I m really unsatisfied with this product and it is not usable at all for me I have been struggling with this product since day 1 I have been in contact with the support for last 3 weeks and they just fool around with silly remarks and new software upgrades Since 1 week after software upgrade Carluex Pro completely stopped working and support stopped responding They lie about 30 days return policy Don t fall for their lies 1 This product takes a long time to connect to Apple carplay of my car for around 15 mins or don t connect at all I had to unplug and plug multiple times and it worked once 2 when connected I could receive calls via carplay but my voice is not heard by the other caller It happened many times and I couldn t talk at all 3 Many times the google maps connected via carplay starts hanging while driving and map was stuck at one location I could not add a new address also Same happened with Waze also 4 Google maps and Waze were getting blurry time to time and not visible while driving 5 Carluex adapter connected to the wifi to do all the software updates were dropping all the time and I had to manually connect multiple times to make it work

Lies on 30 day money back guarantee
Before purchasing the Carluex Pro I inquired about its compatibility with my Acura as it wasn t listed as a supported model The company confirmed via email that it would work However after following all the installation steps the device failed to connect to my car Despite several emails and providing evidence of the issue the company has been unresponsive to my request for a refund It has been over five weeks without receiving a return address to send back the product Their lack of communication is disappointing especially after numerous attempts to resolve the issue including trying to reach out to Julia from customer service who I ve been corresponding with This experience has been the worst product and customer service interaction I ve encountered and it is regrettable that I have to write such a negative review Do not fall for their lies of 30 day money back guarantee They will ignore your request Order CARLUEX2901

This company is a SCAM
This company is a SCAM I was assured the Carluex Air would work with my car However it didn t very buggy none of the buttons in my car worked I asked for a refund and they just beat around the bush and eventually just ignored me I had to file a Paypal dispute to get my money back

Customer Support Fail
Absolutely zero communication regarding shipping of the product after almost a month of waiting for receipt basically amounting to theft of money at this point Still holding to be passed to USPS for delivery and no response with regards to inquiries about the delay or expected delivery time Contacted via email and WhatsApp only to have those messages disappear into the void I absolutely will not order from this company again and suggest that you do not either To the Company emails to hi AT carluex DOT store and WhatsApp messages to 213 301-2742 are garnering NO RESPONSE Please check your avenues of communication to make sure they are still active and provide more assistance than the canned non-helpful generic email message us response Order CARLUEX308204 27 - still no change in status This company cares about nothing short of getting your money

Carleux has the worse customer service
Carleux has the worse customer service ever There site says 30 day refunds I tried to contact them and they want you to use WhatsApp app They responded with checking updates version releases and gibberish as I just want a refund they wanting videos of the problem when ALL I WANT IS A REFUND they since had whatsapp app listing me as spam and making it impossible to contact them There product has extreme lag and is not useable in my driveway let alone while actually travelling If I could give them zero stars I would of

This company is a scam Their support is a joke and refuses to respond to any messages or calls and their address is actually just some random address in NYC Even their phone number is a California number while they claim to be in NY They tried charging me for over 250 and said the box was shipped but USPS hasn t even received the package If you are reading this Carluex please post a direct number I can contact you with to resolve this issue Otherwise I shall be reporting your company to the FTC

This company is a SCAM and a FRAUD I believe it should be reported to FTC Their site promised 30 day free return and refund This is just a lie I ve been trying contacting them and they want you to send some videos photos checking versions releases After following all their instruction and providing the required information the CARLUEX PRO device still was faulty 1 The Carluex Remote control doesn t pair with Carluex Pro 2 The Carluex Pro is frequently disconnects during the drive 3 The call quality is very poor with multiple echoes and noises With every answer every message in Whats-App and E-mail I was asking for refund and return of this order CARLUEX3565 ASAP including all it s parts And I still haven t received any information about the return address of this Chinese company This company is a FRAUD
