Very unprofessional and disappointed
I am very disappointed about the Malaga Carpet court they very unprofessional The owner she said their installer very professional Their installer installed my hybrid floor and they cut the door frame to slide the floor in but they cut too high end up left 5-8mm gap between floor and the door frame very ugly finished I complained to the owner they said that is normal have a gap like that and nothing wrong with that They said their installer always install like that is normal Said I m just too picking about small little things and so rude to me They gave me two options 1 Change the silicon colour and paint it 2 If I don t want they just leave They done dodgy job and expect me to accept their dodgy repair I highly not recommend this company to anyone else

The good the bad the ugly
As with any purchase it s all about the customers overall experience and I d have to say that our overall experience with carpet Court overall was woeful Our Initial in store experience with Harrison at the South Melbourne facility was a good helpful professional service which was why we paid a deposit and booked We were told we would have to wait awhile for the stock to arrive and we were content with that First we were booked to get our kitchen floor replaced we were told the job would take one day We live in an apartment with a tiny kitchen The kitchen floor was started on Friday 17th June and completed On the 22nd June FIVE days later Why because the corker didn t arrive for five days to finish the job Why wasn t he booked in for the same day For five days our FRIDGE sat in the middle of our lounge room as it couldn t be moved back into the kitchen until the floor was finished We were told the corker had been given our number and would call us no carpet Court we did not pay thousands of dollars in a deposit to have to deal with your Tradies that is not our job that is your job And incidentally this person never called us we had to call carpet Court and we had to wait five days with a fridge stuck in the middle of our tiny apartment Two days later we were booked in to get our carpets replaced On the 23rd June Now remember we have waited MONTHS for this booking MONTHS We have paid THOUSANDS in our deposit The Carpet layers didn t turn up no phone call no advance warning just a NO SHOW There was no communication from carpet court once again we had to call them our apartment was in an absolute mess because we had moved furniture and packed things into boxes it had to stay that way for an extra two weeks because the carpet layers didn t show and they couldn t book us in for another two weeks We had taken TWO Days LEAVE OFF work we have booked the building supervisor to organise lifts and parking we have moved furniture around packed away stuff our home is a war zone No carpet no carpet layers no apology nothing No reasons other than the carpet layers pulled the plug Like I said the worst experience with a retailer in my entire life The company follow up attention to detail customer service satisfaction was in this instance woeful The most important thing is setting up a customer expectation if you tell a customer a job will take one day then it should take one day if a customer waits MONTHS for a booking TURN up or have a standby plan don t just blame others The buck stops with you A customer doesn t pay for excuses we pay for a service part of our service eventuated over FIVE days instead of one and the other part of our service was null void for an extra two weeks The worst experience possible carpet court had our money our carpet It s a disgrace When the new carpet layers arrived two weeks later they were very professional friendly and did an excellent job however given the experience the overall experience we had with this company I m not sure I would ever want to put myself through that again All up we took four days holidays from our job each we lived in a war zone for two weeks because we had packed stuff away and the carpet layers didn t arrive There was no apology and no compensation we were not called after the job had been completed and asked if we were satisfied with it we were of course sent an invoice with the money that we owed Carpet court needs to learn from this experience and understand that communication is the key setting up expectation and following through is all part of the customer experience Regards Valerie Rob wife

Worst experience ever stay away
We purchased high quality Wool carpet for a reno from Grovedale Carpet Court for 4 bedrooms which cost around 7 500 It was installed to 3 out of the 4 bedrooms we thought it odd that they didn t have enough and it didn t look like what we purchased But they had installed the wrong carpet They installed our 7 5k carpet into another house who had paid 2k for synthetic carpet so were all to happy to get our wool carpet and weren t giving it back Carpet Court offered us 1 500 off 7 500 to keep the synthetic carpet then upped the offer to 2 000 So we would still have been paying 5000 for something we didn t want that actually cost someone else 2000 to buy We said we wanted what we bought but they then told us that carpet wasn t available for another 2 months So we had to pick another colour in that range as they didn t have anything else of that quality

Buyer Beware We had carpet installed by Carpet Court their sales process was really smooth everything went well until after a few months we had a issue where the carpet had pulled We were sold a 15 year warranty for domestic use residential wear as a product guarantee Once there was an issue Ben the Director of Carpet Court Taren Point was quick to deflect this issue to manufacturer Which under Australian Consumer Law is illegal as the contract of sale is between me carpet court I m only writing this review to warn the public that Carpet Court Taren Point do not honour their warranties I notified the Director of the business Ben Chapman of his obligations under Australian Consumer Law and his obligation offering express warranties and not honouring them You can see the e-mail I sent and Ben s response in the attached images If I had my time over I would have gone with Cronulla Carpets or Harvery Norman

The team at the Moorhouse branch in Christchurch trick you into signing worst case scenario quotes then bill you for work not completed The accounts team refuse to provided a breakdown of costs The franchise owner Adrian said the consultant needed more training and their invoicing system needs work He had no control over the billing The invoice does not include work completed only original quote wording We had Rigid Core vinyl installed Our kitchen installer said carpet court butchered the undercutting of the bench and they spilt concrete on the driveway and didn t clean it up The installer also butchered the carpet in the hall and another installer returned 3 weeks later after badgering the consultant to try to fix it as it was fraying This is for a house that not quite 7 years old and when the carpet was uplifted the slab was in perfect condition

Carpet court Malaga has the worst customer service The lady who works there is so unprofessional and rude beyond imagination Worst customer service I ve ever seen in my life shocking I will never go back to this store I will never deal with this store again due to their very bad customer service Disappointment is understatement

Unprofessional Chadstone Store
The salesman did not mention that I would need a carpenter to trim doors I did certainly need a carpenter The installer was two hours late I was told the installation would take 1 5 hours It took 4 The installer did not clean up He left seven doors in total propped up along the hall All this after an alleged fraudulent ex employee of theirs tampered with an invoice Just unprofessional and disrespectful of customers time
