A whole month with no access to money
NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS In the UK from New Zealand Three days before Christmas the card won t work contacted CP a UK they say there was a problem with their system and I need a new card Renting in Wales spending Christmas in Sussex new card won t arrive till 4th January so no access to cash for the Christmas period then I have to go to the expense of more calls when the card arrives My advice is just take the cash Their exchange rates are very poor anyway Another useless millennial firm It s now January 5th 2024 and still nothing from them it seems once you deposit money with them your stuffed absolutely a complete con 3500 and I can t access it more phone calls to a foreign country All their fancy advertising is a lie

The Canada Post cash passport is a lousy product The people selling it at the outlets have no clue about the product and most unhelpful I bought it to save fees on using my regular credit card 2 5 in my case However if you want to load it up with foreign currency there is a maximum limit of 500 on line through a third party vendor called Zenwallet or 1 000 at a Canada post outlet Each transaction costs 3 Not a lot but if you have to load up a bunch of times it adds up--not a lot less than using your credit card Plus you can only pay at Canada Post with a debit card Lots of restrictions on using it overseas Definitely do NOT recommend this product

Not only what people mentioned below the fees to reload awful But this card takes SO long to reload i have an actual credit card just prefer this one not to spend money i don t have I ve used this awful card on 10 different sites canadian and american American eagle H MCartersVape storesArdenesFor netflix IT TAKES SO LONG TO RECOGNIZE FOR SO MANY SITES Worst part is most of these sites accept prepaid mastercards the blue vanilla card they had 3 years ago worked 10x better then this but now no banks or post canada in my area that can refill those ones

TRULY APPALLING SERVICE
APPALING SERVICEI purchased this card 3 months ago and put 500 cash on it with a government IDThey instantly locked my card for 36 hours while seeking additional security information but requested nothing from meThen the card was released with no explanation or communicationLast month they refused to authorize an online charge for 45 for a car ferry when the card was fundedYesterday they refused to authorized my online charge for my cellular phone and locked the card due to suspicious activity Really paying a cellphone bill is suspicious My phone has been disconnected I emailed this fact Mastercard this and they sent me an email saying call this number to verify your identity how stupid can they really be when their declined transaction has turned off my cellphone serviceThey have zero customer support you get emails saying they will be in tough with you in 1-2 business days then you get templated email responses that ignore your issue DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IT S AN ABSOLUTE P O S AND THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFEPlus they charge YOU a 3 transaction fee for every transaction And they re not even wearing a mask and carrying a gun Highway Robbery

Absolutely awful product
Absolutely awful product It charges you immediately when you pay funds in and then change it to another currency The 200 I paid in immediately became 192 When I used it in South Africa the charges for withdrawing cash were high I just used it in Turkey and it was even higher I ve now cleared all funds out of it and the card is going in the bin where it belongs It also charges you a fee for not using it

I have had nothing but upset since
I have had nothing but upset since putting my money onto the cash passport card for my pending holiday Immediately l started receiving phone messages and emails which l can only describe as dodgy asking me to open suspect links on emails and pass on my bank details etc I called the company to find out what was going on it was difficult to understand the operator as it was a bad line then the next thing that happened was they blocked my card l emailed them and didn t get any further forward I returned to the place that suggested l get the cash passport card and they also had problems trying to contact the people for me to sort it out Eventually after much upset they managed to unblock the card and return some of my money I lost quite a lot of money and l never even used the card This is a very suspect company and l would not recommend anyone to use them

We topped up for our holiday to Spain
We topped up for our holiday to Spain using a Sainsbury s travel card from Cash Passport When taking out the card the lovely lady on the desk explained that if we get any issues the customer service line can help if we get stuck We arrive to our destination and discover the card is missing We have quite a large portion of our holiday money on the card We call and told that it takes 3 to 5 business days to transfer to a UK Bank account To make matters worse they charge you 6 for the Privilege By the time 3 to 5 business days would have passed we would have been going home the next day I asked if this could be transferred toMy husbands travel card or if they could at least produce a digital card for Apple Pay Apparently neither was possible I was then annoyed when it took TEN days to receive the funds to my bank account and we were back in the UK They offered a pathetic 30 in compensation Currently referring it to the Ombudsman I appreciate Sainsburys are just a white label of Cash Passport but they should also take responsibility in selling this product to customers
