Spectacularly bad
Opened a new business account 2 months ago and never been able to use it They don t do what they say and won t deal with your complaints Fed up with idle promises not followed up on Complete waste of time and effort Best avoided unless you just want to gift them all your earnings Don t normally leave reviews but others deserved to be aware if considering CaterAllen

Yet again Cater Allen show scant regard for customers I called and requested a copy statement 18th September Was told I had to put the request in writing which I did via email on the same day Was told statement would be with me in 2-3 working days 13 working days later still no statement despite chasing 3 days ago and being told it was being sent again Ridiculous in this day and age that this bank cannot engage with technology this must cost them a fortune and waste so much time for everyone

A poor online banking interface subjective security questions from new staff members Major long waiting times to get through to someone No same day payments New staff members giving out wrong and subjective information There is nothing that this bank can do that a high street bank can t Did I mention a poor online banking interface

I ve been with Cater Allen for 6 years the website was basic but simple and easy to use The new website is an abhorrent nightmare in which banking dreams go to die Seriously though its shockingly bad with no thought as to how a human may actually operate I genuinely cannot understand what they were thinking It s now virtually impossible to undertake simple tasks Shame but is the kick I needed to finally move banks

Horrific WebsiteI can t even begin to describe how disappointing the new website is I can t even transfer money between accounts now The other comments on Trustpilot cover it though I feel like I ve jumped into the Delorean and gone back in time to pre-internet Cater Allen - did you do any sort of user or customer testing at all before you pulled the trigger on this and did you actually read the results

Horrific please I ve had enough Last straw with this bank Who is running it is a complete clown should be fired immediately New system is abhorrent I m so mad like I don t have a million other problems and to deal with these absolute imbeciles creating over the top awkward security that s still easy to hack

It is now 2024 yet their online service resembles something written in basic for a school project How long can they keep this going Why don t they just get a system from the parent company Santander and perhaps an app so you can use it 24 7

Absolutely rubbish Opened an account 5 weeks ago Didn t receive any welcome letter or bank card account number Called them and was told they couldn t give me my details over the phone and they didn t know why my stuff wasn t sent Opened an account with an internet business bank instead Dont waste your time with Cater Allen

Appalling service
Appalling service 2 5 months to reply with and initial response after bereavement Then changing a trust account over has taken months since Cater Allen received the information and legal documents I am still waiting and it s been over 4 months so far since they had the final information required Opened a complaint which may take up to 51 days Meanwhile my mum who is a pensioner can not get her money when I phone no one can tell me anything It has been over a year since my dad died Totally unacceptable

As a very long term Reserve Account
As a very long term Reserve Account holder we tried to open a Deposit account This turned into a marathon which has taken over a month despite several phone calls made by to to try to speed up the process Still no account has been set up so we will move our substantial deposit to another bank
