Don t touch these with a barge-pole
Don t touch these with a barge-pole online Ordered cheese over 2 weeks before Christmas and never received it Phoned the number numerous times never gets answered and no answer-machine Sent emails and messages via Facebook but still no response Finally raised a complaint through Paypal and still heard nothing back from them Ridiculous

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM I made an order online that said was only available for pick up - when I went to the shop the shop was closed I have contacted them through their website by email by phone by instagram and had no reply So appalled - they shouldn t be allowed to have a website and to trade

I wouldn t recommend Cheeses in Muswell Hill as the operation is so poor as they don t seem to be the most organised shop in the world The shop keepers are polite or flexible at all We wanted to support local business but we d been massively put off

Look elsewhere for online shopping
Although the website was good the service is perhaps the worst I ve had the misfortune to experience Placed an order via their website and the first warning sign manifested in the failure to ship in time due to they claim a postcode confusion Reiterated my postcode and shipped a day late So far not a particular problem On arrival however 3 products were missing and 2 were substituted with lesser quality Repeated efforts on getting an explanation met with no success Post sale support is from my experience non existent I was fooled by the quality of their website which as previously mentioned is good but on receipt of partial order went onto to trustpilot and noted that the majority of other users have experienced the same challenges Also noted that the company appears to have no interest in changing their behaviours as they have not claimed their profile on trustpilot or replied to any disgruntled customer on the site In summary the reader can see for themselves that the majority of ratings for this company are very poor and can only agree with the sentiments of others In the readers best interest suggest avoiding this company for the foreseeable future

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
They only get 1 star because I can t give zero Do not order from Morgan McGlynn and her company Cheeses of Muswell Hill Placed an or order on 27th June Paid for it received the receipt and a delivery date of 1st July I wanted the product for the 3rd so was happy with that Cheese failed to arrive since then I have called the shop by phone never an answer Have mailed 3 times no answer Have sent numerous Instagram posts to the shop and Morgan McGlynn No response They are either useless or dishonest Think I know which one DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Don t buy from this company
I ordered cheese on 12 July Delivery said 3 working days A week later and I ve not received it Tried calling and emails but as others have found they don t answer or reply My advise is don t give them your business they are a disgrace and shouldn t be in business I am going to get my money back through PayPal

I ordered cheese for my brother s birthday which was in June we are in August and its still not delivered I ve called emailed and used instant messaging and other social media sources with no response No money back for an absolutely terrible service Never again

Wish there were a no stars scoring option for this company
Unfortunately there isn t the option of awarding zero stars so will have to be one star Believe me I begrudge that one star immensely I ordered a cosy night in cheeseboard as a 50th birthday present for a cheese-loving friend having seen this company s regular appearances on C4 s Sunday Brunch during the past year or so Everybody on the programme always raves about the cheeses being tasted and I stupidly thought that a company that not only appeared regularly on a popular food programme but was also reviewed in several National papers magazines would be a safe bet Boy was I wrong Their website looked great and the various products looked and sounded delicious I was a bit put off by the additional 6 99 postage fee for the order but decided that it was worth it if everything was as lovely as it appeared Despite ordering with over a week s safety net just in case there were any delivery delays the order didn t arrive in time for my friend s birthday After Day 11 and still no appearance and after alerting friend there was a present coming and asking them to check it hadn t gone to the fewer than ten other houses down their lane I contacted the company using the contact form on their website as they request After two days and no reply I looked up their email address and emailed them - again giving the order details This time I did at least get an automated out of the office reply from the owner and another email address to use for any urgent messages Which I used Apparently my concept of what that means in terms of someone getting back to me and theirs is sooooo very different After another two days I sent a further polite email And then a day later another one - still polite but firmer about the fact that things were now getting annoying Each time copying the previous emails and the order information I really was trying my best to make it as easy as possible for them to get up to speed and resolve the missing order with as little hassle as possible A couple of days later and I tried messaging them through their Instagram account Still polite and ever hoping that there had been some sort of massive unexpected issue at their end and that would turn out to be the reason for their lack of response Can you guess where this is going Yep no reply Finally I tried phoning No answer By this time 25 days had passed since I placed my order and the company took my payment My friend s birthday had been and gone I then went on the old google and typed in the words Muswell Hill Cheeses cheesesonline reviews and arrived on Trustpilot And all became clear This wasn t a one-off Rather this way of behaving appeared to be the company s tried and tested method of dealing with any problems with customer orders So I did what many others ended up doing and used the chargeback option for my bank card filled out the online form explained everything I had done to try and resolve the matter with the company and pointed out that it appeared I was by no means the first person who had had to use chargeback or the PayPal equivalent to get my money back The speed with which the money appeared back in my account suggests this is something the card company has had to do many times So what have I learned One it s worth checking Trustpilot reviews even for companies that appear to be established and well-respected Two if you want a fabulous cheese experience whether for yourself or as a gift then I can t recommend enough The Cheese Geek company Free postage brilliant service took under two days for another cheese-based present to wend its speedy way to my 50 and a number of days year old friend And they said the cheese tasted amazing
