Chelsea magazines unacceptable behaviour
I live in New Zealand and took out a subscription to English Home in October 2022 I have not received a magazine yet February 2023 I have emailed the company 6 or 7 times only to be fobbed off each time Initially there was a question about my address then the British postal strike was blamed and now they have refused to reimburse my subscription fee because I did not tell them I wanted a refund within 14-days of taking out my subscription How stupid I did not know that I was not going to receive my magazines at that time They have offered me the electronic magazine instead of the hard copy version I do not want this The company is a fraud they are unhelpful and their staff seem not to understand simple emails I advise anyone reading this not to have any dealings with Chelsea Magazines Professor I C ShawLyttelton New Zealand

Scam company
Really bad as you can see from other customer reviews I subscribed to Racecar Engineering magazine in December 2022 and to date 11th April 2023 I still haven t received a single issue which is a disgrace I have contacted customer services by phone and email and all they have done is apologise and insist that they have sent out a new issue obviously to someone else as I haven t seen it Very bad and should be avoided at all costs EDIT 8th July 2023 Another 3 months have passed and yep you guessed it still no magazine to be found I have been told countless times that it has been sent and that I should receive it but I still haven t seen a single copy of a magazine I subscribed to more than 7 months ago I strongly suggest you avoid this company at all costs Moreover they do not provide refunds even if it is clear you have not benefited from the subscription They state that it is the policy and cannot provide refunds Pretty low-class thievery

Magazines never arrived
Ordered via a special offer which I saw on social media offering a low introductory rate 4 months later and no magazines have reached me in Ireland I have had severla emails back and forth with a customer service rep called Richelle who has offered platitudes but nothing substantial

Absolutely awful company to deal with
Absolutely awful company to deal with Was double charged for a subscription and never received any issues Emailed multiple times about cancelling and i havent gotten a response back at all and its been weeks Had to cancel the card to get the random charges to stop What a scam

You won t receive what you ve paid for
If you live outside the UK don t expect to receive the magazines you ve paid for I took out a subscription to Popshot Quarterly Magazine in February 2022 To date I should have received nine magazines however I have received zero I live in Japan and have never had any issues with deliveries from the UK so I find it very hard to believe that nine separate magazine deliveries have somehow gone missing in transit Each time I write to Chelsea s support team I get a generic response saying that it can take up to 45 days for international delivery that replacements have been sent and not to forget that I can view the digital versions of the magazine online If the subscription had been for digital versions of the magazine this would not be a problem but I paid for a subscription that stated they would send physical copies as well Looking at other reviews here I am not alone It s abhorrent that Chelsea Magazine Company take people s money with zero intention of sending out the magazines they have paid for

I paid a subscription for Discover Britain but nothing delivered
I paid a subscription for Discover Britain in November 2022 It is now October 2023 and I have received just one copy I live in Sydney Australia and the only response I get is we cannot control delivery There has been no offer of a refund How can all magazines goastray They do not even reply to my emails Dreadful company to deal with If you live outside Britain do not waste your money

It s no just overseas deliveries that are not fulfilled
I wanted to give a gift subscription to The English Home as a birthday present When I went online the earliest issue that could be sent as the first issue was February 2024 As the recipient s birthday was at the beginning of December I was told I could order separately 2 previous issues I therefore ordered the gift subscription and 2 magazines The amount for both was taken from my account and no magazine has been received It is tortuous trying to get through on the phone and e mails are ignored or replied to in a meaningless way by telling me the magazine could still be in the postal system I have requested a refund and received nothing Avoid this company
