We visited Chessington on Thursday 11th April 2019 and had a fantastic day Every member of staff we came across was extremely polite asking how our day had been so far and wished us well for the rest of the day Queue times were very reasonable all rides were between 20 to 45 mins but didn t have to queue for longer than half hour All rides were running smoothly Our only disappointment was Room on a broom where we did queue for an hour and it wasn t particularly busy the queue seemed to move very slowly especially with the fast track queue as they seemed to let more of them through each time compared to the main queue Once into the room it was very fast paced and if you were at the back of the group you missed part if not all of the next room The whole experience was over in under 10 minutes and is definitely not worth the hour wait Apart from this we had an amazing fun filled day as we always do when visiting Chessington Our children s ages were between 11 and 2 years plenty of fun rides suitable for all ages

Superb Day

After reading all the bad reviews I was rather nervous to go we booked our tickets via Clubcard Arrived at 10 and went straight to The Gruffalo ride Wait time said 80 minutes but we were on within 40 Queues themselves moved quickly and had lots to do whilst you wait for the kids Managed to get on about 8 rides within the whole day we left at 5 park itself was clean and staff very friendly My little girl wanted a slush drink and as we walked away she dropped it lady on the slush stall came to her rescue without me having to ask and got her a new one without extra charge Staff were talkative and made my whole family feel excited about the rides Yes queue times for the bigger rides were up to 2 hours but you get this at all theme parks After seeing all the bad reviews I couldn t recommend it more and we will definitely be going back The whole Gruffalo Party was absolutely amazing and my little girl was over the moon to see them all dancing about Great work today Chessington We will be back x

Love this place We had such a lovely day here there was something for the kids and adults as well and we definitely want to visit again

So many people going in school holidays

So many people going in school holidays and complaining how busy it is what did you expect Yes it s busy but my family and i had a great time kids 10 8 and 2

The best holiday

We had the best time the staff were 100 friendly and helpful in all departments A few minor problems sorted immediately e g a glass of corked wine which was replaced by two Our room in the Azteca lived up to expectations The hairdryer only worked for 30 seconds at a time and it would have been good to get it sorted The feed the giraffes experience was excellent Joe was a mine of information We went in early both days and hardly had to queue at all Maximum was midday when it was 30 minutes Our 5 year old declared it better than Disneyland The restaurant was very good and we had the friendliest waitress who went out of her way All in all a perfect holiday We can t wait to return
