chesskid com should be for kids only I ve been wanting to teach my son how to play and thought this was the place but my son said it was too hard and come to find out almost 90 percent of the opponents aren t even children there Elo ratings are extremely high and u can tell no kid is going to play the moves some of these people are playing so he s been playing grown men or women who have lots of experience and now he hates chess and doesn t want to play at all this shouldn t be a place that kills the joy of chess for kids just because others can t progress on other chess cites it should specifically be for kids to learn and grow to love the game would not recommend this to any child or parent unless they want to kill the little joy their child has for chess

Bad You can t do anything without a membership like Puzzle Duel or Puzzles Cheaters are allowed on the site and the chat is limited No report or block button Can t add friends unless both players add each other Not the best

Peace and or madness

What went wrong was that when I was playing chess by myself you know when it teaches you and whenever I made a move it paused our game and the place where I went turned red You could improve that And you might think that the 1 star rating is really hurtful for one little mess up but chess should be fun not hurting people with there move when they are getting taught by to learn about chess To make you feel a little bit just a little bit better I like that you get to change your avatar But hate to change the mood why can t you press a button to go to your files so you can get your own picture for your avatar Thank you for reading Peace and or madness Nun-of-yur-biz-nas

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service On its website it says it take up to 24 hours to change your username But after 24 hours there are no notification NOTHING I wrote to their CS and they are basically telling me NOT to send multiple request for the same matter Yes I did send multiple request but who delayed in the first place And in this age were we have Gen AI who still force a username on its paying users and review every single username request Regret paying for a year of membership If I knew how bad their CS is I would never done it

ChessKid customer service is a bad joke I buy Gold in bulk 15 - 20 slots and circulate them among my most active students ChessKid reached out to me and asked if I wanted to be set up with an enterprise account The invitation said it didn t affect billing enterprise was just an easier way to manage my kids I have about 180 kids so far about 70 are in my classes each semester but I let everyone stay in our chesskid clubs I clicked the button to change to enterprise and voila All of my current pre-paid Gold disappeared and all of the Gold already assigned to Gold were unassigned I cannot reassign Gold now I tried their bot help which replied that doesn t sound right Duh It looked like maybe a live agent took over and asked How my I help I replied Read the previous paragraphs I might have upset the agent because the reply was Someone will contact you in 1 - 3 days I tried purchasing some more Gold because I was desperate to get my students back to work It shows that Gold as active but still won t let me use it I tried contacting ChessKid again and the bot asked me for an image of the Gold receipt that they emailed me WT ChessKid has shut part of my classes down for the week apparently

TO MANY BUGS

Chesskid is rated an 4 7 star in App Store I SAY BOTS ARE RATING IT I checked other websites rating and the average is 1 to 2 star To many bugs unfair way to lose You can lose by internet and you will still lose rating how is that fair Chesskid cost money to do infinite puzzles and lessons and to play all bots and many other features lichess is completely free Sometimes the move button randomly disappears and you lose by time To fix it you have to close your iPad iPhone then reopen it and go back to chess kid but if you spend to long doing that it will disconnect you Don t use chess kid it is horrible

It is great Even without the gold membership it has some helpful features when you play a chess kid fast chess game it tells what opening you play It also can tell you if you internet connection is bad And there are almost certainly no cheaters on more reminder Do Not limit more features because you want money I was hoping more features are available for non gold members Use it for your kids Schools stop blocking this It is safe
