They ruined my family reunion on thanksgiving day

I ordered lunch for the family on thanksgiving day through Chowbus It s supposed to e delivered between noon to 2 00pm I was confirmed the order around 9 00am However I received a call after 12 15pm from Chowbus saying my lunch order has been canceled because the restaurant is not open for today My whole family was waiting for the lunch delivery at that time and there was no time for us to prepare other things When I tried to solve the problem with their customer service they just rudely disconnected me At last they just ignored my request message Thanksgiving day is such a important family reunion time especially after long time not seeing the rest of the family during the pandemic It is really unfair that the Chowbus team is so irresponsible They could at least notify me a little earlier Even before today they have barely delivered within the time window they promised Don t trust this business Service is very bad and customer service is rude and irresponsible

Support local Asian businesses but don t use this app

Customer service representative are all rude and didn t even let me know they were from Chowbus It was just a random number from Florida and then the representative had the audacity to yell at me and rush me instead of taking her time to talk to me about the situation Great idea on the app to help other Asian businesses out but horrible customer service

Slowest delivery service in existence

Like others I m very frustrated with their ridiculous delivery times 2 5 hours for a 20 minute drive is unacceptable

Left the restaurant steaming hot got here cold as ice

I made an order and got it two hours after it left the restaurant and it was ice cold The company is defending their position saying it was delivered in a timely manner Do yourself a favor do not use this company

Dishonest company

This is a very dishonest company I ordered and had a coupon code which was successfully applied Upon paying my credit card was charged for the full amount I immediately emailed hello at chowbus com on 11 22 2020 and received no response I then chatted with Jonas Jias via intercom on their chat site and he absolutely refused to refund the 5 to me I was supposed to get 5 off my first 3 orders I was also about to place another big order but they have lost my business and I am complaining about their company They do not deserve anyone s business if they are going to be this dishonest Do not think that their app works at all

Just as everyone has said before DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DELIVERY SERVICE Made an order at 12pm to a restaurant only a few miles away The customer service on the app was no help at all Yu Mei At 2pm we called the restaurant and they said the order had been picked up 1 hour ago So now even if we do get our food It will have been sitting around for over an hour without proper heating or storage Terrible service and no reimbursement Please do not order from here

ChowbusOfficial Ordered the food on 5 25pm tonight the food was ready on 5 56pm It took Chowbus 1 hour to find a driver The status never updated until I messaged the customer support Now the delivery estimate is 8 31pm Come on 3 hours for 20 minutes drive Also the driver didn t take a route any gps would suggest He is hanging around in the middle of nowhere instead driving on a free highway leading to my house

Absolutely disappointing

Absolutely disappointing delivering services Doesn t matter if they have great food choices on the app if they can t deliver them to your door I waited for more than 2 hours for my food to deliver in Chicago That didn t happen once it happened quite often and I live in the South Loop area which is ironic that no one is delivering food in a big city I am moving to Uber Eats and other alternative options this is the worst food delivering app service in 2020 2021

Huge time discrepancy I recieved two conflicting and delayed

I recieved two conflicting and delayed pickup times from chowbus that were 52 minutes apart from each other and so I waited over an hour exactly 1 hour and 17 minutes from the time I placed my order which originally said I would have to wait 25 minutes
