Horrible experience

I sat the CITBe online Sounded great as so convenient to sit online I set up my test for 8pm That s when it all went wrong Firstly the over the top instructions on how to log on just before the test us allowed to be taken were over complicated However after getting through all security stuff I didn t get the test to start despite relogging loading it just ran past the 10 min overtime allowed Now if I read correctly it said they would not take money if not sat WRONG took 99 pounds around 5 days later Horrendously frustrating experience Avoid Avoid Avoid

Outdated tech

You can only do the e course if you have a personal computer Tablets and company laptops will not work or anything with any sort of firewall protection How is this helping people get into the industry Barriers and stumbling blocks rather than stepping stones

MAP - Too difficult

Too difficult 2013 116 pages 2018 111 pages 2024 244 pages I m inclined to agree with many of the comments on here I believe that it is purposely made too hard to generate resit revenue so yes this is just a money making scam and contributes little to actual site safety I have read your responses to other reviewers too but my opinion remains unchanged this is just a money making scam which is significantly affecting peoples lives and jobs The subject matter is too broad nobody needs to know that much other than maybe a few in very senior positions It is about time that you accepted what you re being told by these reviewers many of whom will have many years site experience and stop trying to justify this scam

Too many variables

Too many variables not enough time to read it No refreshers given although tickets last 5 years I have held these tickets for years and did not pass my renewal this time far too many options that are similarly worded and not enough time to mentally process them Why does it have to be time limited for telehandler tickets anyway I feel cheated One question and 2or more answers Misleading and confusing You change the question and answer on to much Cheater s dishonourable just like the government Take no responsibility Just money Theft

Not worth one star CITB have really gone too far with this one the MAPS test is horrific Laura spouting stuff about standards and responsibility isn t good enough What about my responsibility to pay my mortgage and feed my kids Sickening All this blather about mental health and CITB pull a trick like this stressing people out it s truly unbelievable

MAPs test is a joke and totally irrelevant for most management and consulting roles Working in Fire Safety only I have no day to day involvement in half of the subjects it s asking for but at least CITB are making plenty of money out of the tests and revision materials When would a Fire Safety consultant get involved with soils and road closures Get a grip

Absolutely disgusting that people s jobs and livelihoods are on the line due to the completely unrealistic testing measures I m a student and may potentially lose the job I m due to start after my degree because the questions are so completely outside of my study area and are completely subjective Half the time the questions are only right due to the way they ve been worded There s absolutely no reason for the pass rate to be 90 for entry level graduates new in their careers You should be ashamed of yourselves

New MAP test does not make sense at all

I found the language of the new test is terribly confusing and vague as a non native speaker Level of detail expected from the delegate about the specific trades is not reasonable This test will cause problems for the companies Edit after revising the appstore app for 1 week and memorising all questions I passed with 100 I learnt something I guess but new test is built on word games
