Just like the others reviewers we paid a so called damages deposit of 600 Euro DO NOT TRANSACT with this company We have the police involved Little do they know we live in Paris

Same experience booked in Paris 20-24 July Deposit of EUR 600 asked via swikly comNot refunded no communication possible I had checked with booking com hotline prior to paying deposit They only referred to deposit being asked for in the description Not possible to receive keys without payment

Avoid you will lose your damages deposit

cityapartmentstay took EUR600 from us as a fully refundable damages deposit paid via SWIKLY which they have not returned to us over two weeks after we vacated their Paris property They do not respond to email SMS WhatsApp or phone They have vanished with our money There are many complaints and reviews on Tripadvisor from travellers in the same position It appears that this company do this all the time

I got same experience Cityapartmentstay registered in Malta is a subsidiary of Upperkey Those are all crooks They will never pay you what was negotiated Upperkey will offer to work with a commission of generally 25 but will sublease to Cityapartmentstay with a higher commission Owner s part will be then calculated based on revenues of As a owner you will never know the global revenues and you will be paid at best 40 of what was negotiated And when it comes to taxes paid to local gouvernement Malta

My deposit was not returned

Rented an apartment in Paris from 21st to 24th September and deposited 600 upon request The deposited amount has not been returned to me I receive no reaction from the company despite several reminders
