Don t give your credit card details to MacPaw I have made an error 1 After a free trial it did not work for me I cancelled on the same day It should have a 7-day free trial period I deleted their product from my computer 2 They offered a discount the next day I asked to unsubscribe and delete my details because their product was useless 3 On the next day they took the money for 1-year subscription and sent me a receipt ignoring my requests They charged during the free trial period 4 Now I have to contact my bank I sent them the third request to cancel and refund What a waste of time I have not received a refund yet This kind of people may change their name and keep operating under different names We need to be careful I just received the following notice I am really sorry for the response to your initial query This was our virtual assistant and it had misunderstood your concern You are now through to Paddle s dedicated support team to provide you with assistance I have refunded your payment and can confirm the subscription is now canceled and you will not be billed for this product in the future Typically you will receive your refund within 3-5 business days Some bank cards may have a longer processing time resulting in a delay of the funds returning to your account Please reach out to us if you don t see your funds appear on your statement within a reasonable amount of time and we will be happy to provide further assistance in this matter I hope you have a lovely day Kind Regards MishPaddle Support London UK Paddle net If I did receive a refund I will report it here I will change my credit card details I spent over 3 hours to send a dispute notice fom my bank Finally I received the full refund They may have their own definition of free trial period However It seems to me that they are trying to find ways to lie wihout violating laws

DO NOT BUY You have been warned Terrible system keeps stopping and completely locks you out You then have to uninstall it and re-install it again it has happened 3 times to me now Not worth the risk Totally unusable

They auto renewed without me agreeing to it They used an email address that didn t exist I noticed they deducted my card 6 days after the 30 day terms and they refused to refund my money I don t use Mac anymore at all Too many issues

The company shut me down and said I was using an illegal download just two months after I had paid for it Their sales team could not figure it all out and the company response was just totally stupid Lost my money and got nowhere Keep clear of this lot

beware mac paw is not honest you pay the money then it wont work getting fobbed of with useless emails all a con they cancelled my subsriction with out notice after me paying for a year MAC USERS BEWARE

Paying Duplicate subscriptions poor quality customer service
I renewed my Mac paw in March per an error message so I renewed for a year Today I became aware I was actually paying for TWO overlapping subscriptions between March 2023-August 2023 The fact that no notification of the duplicate payment for 2 identical subscriptions is frustrating to say the least Furthermore I noticed little benefits of the clean my Mac service not worth the subscription and definitely not worth 2 I find it poor customer service to not refund prevent or even inform me of this and a rather poor business practice in general Very dissatisfied

Crashes and Poor support
My apps were crashing and when I tried to run Malware removal CleanMyMac crashed I got a response from the company that asked me to run a helper app that I d already run That app crashed and I reported it but never heard back for 2 days When I followed up I was just given generic replies that the team was working on it and that they will get back to me with a response

Don t install this software
Shocking app Looks shiny clever useful They don t tell you that it causes serious problems with memory usage It stopped two of my MacBooks completely Couldn t do a thing couldn t understand why Finder etc couldn t load I had to take them in to Apple they uninstalled the Clean my Mac software and now they are all working fine Apple advises this is a common problem with this software MacPaw won t issue a refund and I have incurred extra costs to fix my laptops
