AVOID AT ALL COSTS I only wish that we had read these reviews before booking I agree with every negative comment stated as we had the same AWFUL experience This company are nothing but SCAMMERS and CON ARTISTS They openly lied that the tolls no longer accepted cash since Covid and even after we had driven through one minutes earlier PAYING CASH the agent said this couldn t have happened They charged 15 a day for a Sunpass failing to tell us that all toll charges had been suspended in Florida due to the recent hurricane They remained suspended for two weeks of our holiday The office would not reply to messages as they were aware that they had lied but just thought they could get away with it We are pursuing them through our bank for the return of all mis-sold and fraudulent charges There are hundreds of UK sites for Brits eager to visit Disney Orlando all looking for travel tips I look forward to spreading the word that this company are nothing but liars and thieves

Note - Trustpilot gives this company 2 stars despite not a single reviewer giving them more than 1 star and ClubsCars never having responded to a single review which goes to show don t just believe the headline score read the reviews I wish I d done more research first but I trusted Discover Cars to provide us with a safe and reputable care hire firm I was wrong Don t make this mistake just avoid Hired a car from Clubs Car rentals Orlando for our honeymoon Awful experience Booked through Discover Cars we had all the paperwork in place showing all the details First Clubs Cars sent us details about picking the car up in Miami which was concerning then when corrected they had the wrong me as the wrong customer Got this sorted then finally when we arrived in Orlando we were driven to a dimly lit car pound with a shack in the corner and presented with paperwork to sign for significantly more than what was agreed with Discover Cars Despite repeatedly pointing out that it clearly stated the price on the booking and that no extra fees or taxes were payable they made us pay sizeable extra admin fees and then charged us the state tax on the whole bill all over again this was already paid We were told we had to pay it if didn t we needed to leave and wouldn t get the car There was no assistance afro anyone available Discover Cars don t put a contact number on their paperwork and when I searched online they were based in Latvia and it was 1am there Had to pay it as it was evening and after 18 hours of travelling we still had a long drive ahead We then spent the next 2 weeks wondering how much we were going to get shafted when we returned the car I am in the process of taking this up with Discover Cars so await an outcome but as it stands I would never use Clubs Cars Orlando Miami ever again They simply cannot be trusted

Deplorable and predatory

First of all you guys are a rip off you don t tell the customer that they have to have 300 000 and insurance in order to rent a car basically if they don t which 99 of the people don t have a 300 000 insurance policy they re forced to buy your insurance policy On top of that the fact of the matter is your assistance person was rude and disrespectful I had to pay 149 on top of the money that I paid from rentalcars com Yes it was a third-party person that was supposed to have been the only money that I spent There was nothing anywhere that mentioned that I would be forced to get insurance from you guys for additional money Also when I went to drop the car off no one was there according to the other car provider you guys were gone for the evening I made sure to let the individual who I rented the car from know that I had a late night flight on Sunday That I will be bringing the car back at 8pm at night Because that was after the 9am time that I originally rented the car I had to pay for an additional day The other rental car place called a shuttle guy who pissed off and decided that he didn t want to help us He would not let us explain the situation He actually walked away and said oh well I m not taking you guys to the airport He walked away while I was talking My whole experience with you guys was totally an atrocity of mass proportions for any rental car company Your employees are disrespectful Your policies are misleading and your services are absolutely terrible I had to beg your driver to give me a ride to the airport Me and my 10 year old were so vulnerable out at night in a place that we don t know literally having to plead with a stranger who it was obvious could care less if we made it back to the airport safely Clubs car rental is the most predatory car rental company I have ever utilized in my 20 years of traveling Please know that I will be going on every rental car site that I can to report about your company

If I could give it a negative rating I surely would I have contacted Economy Bookings about the shady business dealings that Clubs Car Rental and their booking agency participate in Your representative acts as if they are not aware of the bait and switch tactic of quoting a booking price and then forcing customers to pay additional fees and basic protection plans at an outrageous rate after the customer is shuttled to your office The automobile insurance industry has a standard PIP level that they recommend on automobile policies and it is 300 000 00 bodily injury and 100 000 00 property damage It is obvious that you have buried this 300 000 00 property damage requirement in your fine print to trap people into buying your grossly overpriced basic coverage Now that I have read your reviews I see that this is a commonly complained about business trick that you use and apparently you continue to get away with it I will surely spread the word about the dishonest tactic that you use and as I told your representative This is the first time that I have used your rental service As a result of your terrible business ethic it will also be the last time that I use your service and Economy Bookings

Reached the rental location which we sat outside for 30 minutes before allow in the office Once inside were told that we owed 35 00 a day for additional insurance and 15 00 per day for tolls This added an additional 500 00 to the cost of the rental on the original quote of 149 00 plus taxes
