cobra fortis 14l problems

I got my new cobra fortis 14L Late 2023 First impression well made but ridiculously heavy Worked first time then on day 2 would not start Returned to agent and was advised it had the wrong spark plug which they replaced Put into storage for 2024 First use late march would not start at all total disaster Returned to agent and he advised petrol contaminated with water I do not see how this could be as it had no petrol in it when I returned it Even so lets look at the problems with its design It is so ridiculously heavy it flattens the grass into the soil then cannot cut it absolute RUBBISH In order to resolve this Cobra offer for about 120 a grooved front roller and a grass rake Why are these not included in purchase price if they are required for the mower to even work This mower will not cut grass longer than a few millimeters so what use is it My advice would be buy a model from a long time favorite like Webb Allett or Massport

Never ever buy a Cobra mower

What a piece of crap the Cobra MX 484 mower is Domestic garden use by only myself I was sure this would be suitable Couple of weeks after purchase the starter went warranty issue drive belt failed my cost battety charger failed my cost clamps for the handles vibrated loose and were lost it was not possible to tighten them Drive cable has frayed and has broken as well as a crack in the blade both replaced took 4 weeks at my cost The plate under the grass box flap which covers the gears has fallen off and been lost into the grass box Now the machine fails to pull backwards and has a grinding sound when moving forwards I have been in contact with the company and I am waiting 4 weeks for a call back I now understand why so few places supply Cobra mowers as they are absolute rubbish Anyone I have spoken to would not even source parts for them as they said they were cheap the machine was not cheap when I purchased it What a waste of money My previous mower was more reliable after 10 years that this is after 6 months never ever ever buy a Cobra mower

Purchased a Cobra RM514SPC 20 Petrol Powered Lawnmower with Steel Rear Roller Utter rubbish and would highly recommend avoiding You have less than a 50 of it starting when you want to mow the lawn If it doesn t start leave it a few days and try again and it will probably start Shame on you if you stop the mower once you ve started to empty the grass box as you then have about a 80 chance of not being able to start it again Consumes a v high level of engine oil and is very sensitive to the petroleum used Mowing the lawn will never again be a more frustrating torrid time for you if you buy a Cobra I was fooled by the retailers reviews rather than the genuine user reviews such as trustpilot Please avoid for your sanity

i bought a Cobra hover mower 3 years

i bought a Cobra hover mower 3 years ago The instructions tell you to pump the petrol - there isn t one on the machine It starts only when it wants to and I tried 50 or so times yesterday but even on the few occasions it started and then abruptly stopped It is just rubbish and I wouldn t touch this brand again

I ordered a Cobra 18 Rear roller petrol mower with a 160cc Honda engine with a 60ltr collection box weighing 32kgs from Gardens4less this was sent direct from suppliers and I received a 145cc with a 55ltr collection box weighing 38kgs I contacted Gardens4less and let alone they were QUITE helpful Henton Chettell did not want to know Not even a sorry or explanation absolutely terrible company and customer service Next time I purchase I will make sure the advertising company actually stock the item themselves

Cobra 40V Batteries Unreliable Rubbish

I have now had two very expensive Cobra 40V batteries in 11 months Both ceased charging It has taken several weeks to sort out I regret purchasing Cobra lawnmower as it is simply unreliable
