Worst company ever Please be WARNED they are nothing but a SCAM company

I was a customer of Combined Life Insurance Co of New York for over 30 years In all that time I never filed a claim until November 2021 when I had an accident at work Filed a claim for lost of employment and medical expenses and after submitting all the documentation I was denied I spoke with CLICONY and was promised that my claim would be considered after 2 years never received a penny I write this review so ALL are WARNED that this is a SCAM company Please keep away

PDS is confusing it covers multiple policy types so you have no idea what you actually have Then when you try to claim just get the run around The best rating I would give is -5

Well if thinking going with Combined don t there Lier s I had 4 policy s with combined one was incomeGard was to cover me if I had no wage I had to have hip replacement do to coming off a horse but since they found I had existing Arthritis in 2022 but I had incomegard back then but I changed to higher wage or different package I was not covered So I have to go 5 month with no wage loose my home because I cant pay my mortgage and my truck so think twice before going with this company I am not the only person this company done this to i should stayed with Sunlife at leased i would of been covered

Company is making up excuses why they don t have to pay out for a policy My husband passed away from a heart attack he had a accident and sickness policy they wanted me to pay the following months premium to get paid

Do not waste your time and money with this insurance company all the want is your money without doing anything to earn it if you file a claim you WILL have a problem from the start all the way to the end

Only giving them one star because there is no lower option It takes hours to get someone on the phone then you are likely to be transferred to someone else and you will have to continually verify your information and explain why you are calling to each new person you speak to Every other phone call they need some new documentation as if they are trying to make it as difficult as possible My family member passed over a month ago and I am still fighting with this company to pay for the funeral I never wish to deal with this company again

I don t even have this insurance yet I got a letter from them about my policy and privacy information The letter states that I AM a policy holder which is impossible because I never signed up filled out anything or even spoken to anyone about getting one Feels like my info is being used without my knowledge or consent I do NOT have insurance through Combined

Would give 0 rating if I could This company had duplicate policies for my husband which he paid for because he trusted the company My husband also had a crazy amount of other policies with Combined Insurance which of course they recommended he get because he was a farmer and lived alone at this point When I came along I went through all the policies and saw that they were just ripping him off When I mentioned the duplicate one they gave the usual BS about someone would be in touch bla bla but no one EVER called We scrapped the lot of policies with the company because it appeared to just be a scam Never Ever Again
