These people never respond

These people never respond to requests and if they do it takes weeks The odds that any apartment listed on their site is actually available is close to nothing You d be wasting your time using the site - there are much better options

Not trustworthy

Working with coming-home has been so difficult We lived in one of their advertised apartments for 2 years however the collaboration with them and also the landlord was a nightmare We had to move during the pandemic and from them not allowing us to see the apartment before signing to the photos of the flat being inaccurate we were really afraid that it was a scam We signed the contract with loads of second thoughts but Berlin is such a difficult city to find rentals that we had no other choice and in the handover day nobody from their side was present nor were we able to report how many things were not according to what we signed up for When we ended our stay the landloard charged for things that were not meant to be charged and when we bought this to coming-home they acted as if it is not on their hands - even though again - none of the the things we were charged for were part of the contract A person from their legal department even admitted in writing that we were not supposed to be charged by the landlord for those things but then when we asked them to support us in getting the landlord to reimburse us they never answered anymore So frustrating We d never work with them again nor would we recommend them We lost so much money and we barely got anything in return for it

Stay away from this company

The apartment has been rented for three months and handed over in terrible condition The previous tenant or the owner did not clean it After moving out the landlord still has not paid the deposit The agency does not take any responsibility to protect its clients tenant rights Please stay away from this company not trustful at all Fraud

Coming home has been our saving grace

Coming home has been our saving grace here in Germany At first our situation went from good to bad to better explanation follows Through our contact cominghome we were entrusted promised an apartment in Berlin However the landlady decided to keep the tenant for another month or more and we had to quickly find another Our contact responded fast and offered us a better apartment closer to the city in a great neighbourhood We are really happy with our apartment here 5 stars nothing less D

The best thing that coming home can do for you is treating your problem as their own one It was a very challenging times while I was looking for housing in Berlin and coming home just took an initiative and responsibility to suggest a solution I was writing them several times a day and every time they were responding with a valuable answer with some useful action included in Michaela Eggert from coming home put unbelievable efforts to help me and managed to suggest the best solution It was about person s attitude towards the problem empathy and professionalism Thank you very much again dear Michaela Eggert You a highly valuable asset for your team

Coming Home did fantastic After searching for an apartment on their website I was a bit hesitant because they said there s no option to view the apartment or call them only emails because they have loads of clients to deal with I was pleasantly surprised how responsive they were with emails They answered every question on my mind as long as I wrote to them Their apartment acquisition was super smooth almost too good to be true but they are true Special mention of Michaela Eggert thank you lady Coming from outside Germany and the EU in general I wrote to them about my plan to get to the apartment directly from the airport and that s exactly what happened I was overjoyed when I got to the apartment and found out it s exactly as I saw it online and even has some furnishings that were not mentioned in the ad Cherry on top of the cake is the Landlord and his wife very very nice people And to think that the entire time it took from the search to living in the apartment was less than ten days After a fruitless 2 5 months search for apartments on the most popular websites in Germany I will recommend Coming Home and Michaela Eggert any day for anyone coming to Berlin they did a fantastic job for me And all of this is at no cost to you the tenant
