Worst experience ever
After 28 years of being a loyal customer with my salary going onto the account and later my pension I was given notice and myxaccount was blocked in June No reason no cause I was told it was their right and being a private non government bank they did not need to reason Living abroad really put me and my family in a spot Had to borrow money to survive After about 6 weeks I finally got my money out now atvthe DKB great service Friendly staff I can only say Do not touch the Commerzbank worst experience ever Deserve a 0 not even 1 star

Terrible customer service phone
Wish I could give negative stars I have multiple accounts at Commerzbank for many years but their lack of decent customer service is what will cost them customers How difficult is it to answer politely on the phone Rude arrogant and not helpful Time to switch the bank for a better customer service provider

I had an extremely frustrating experience with this bank everything is so complicated Their support service was abysmal leaving me feeling unheard and ignored Whenever I reached out for assistance the response time was ridiculously slow if I received any response at all It seemed like they didn t value their customers time or concerns

Impossible to work today s age with Commerzbank Digital products and support online and even personal are not working In my case as example I am trying to get the right activation of a Premium Card since 3 months it is a nightmare

Bad customer Service
Bad customer service They are not helping us and if you get one transfer from even from EU zone they will block the account and hold the money Customer service cannot answer on this bank branches cannot answer this Therefore I will terminate the account and move to another bank Never put all eggs into one basket

Trying to contact the bank
I have been banking with Commerzbank or its predecessor for over 40 years but they appear not to want to have contact with customers It is impossible to find a phone number for the branch let alone an email address of a person to contact I have submitted an email to the central system but after 24 hours there is still no answer This is the worst service I have ever had

Bureucratic 0 customer service and full of Catch-22
I have dealt with many banks financial institutions and others Commerzbank has the worst set up I have dealt with In addition there is no customer service The hotline is a fully german machine where you will despair for hours Its surreal Anything needs a huge amount of paperwork form submissions and whatnot Even to book an appointment you need to fill a form several times what I did to ask a mortgage on other banks Avoid it at all costs I just want to close my account and retrieve my cash and already spent 4h for nothing

Customer service at your main branch in Munich Promenadenplatz is insultingly poor The staff are very interested when large amounts of money appear on the account two personal phone calls asking about my intentions for the cash but when they learn that the money will be moved on then we get an interview with one of the new clueless advisors who is more interested in moving us on so he can disappoint his next client L for a few daysne has the suspicion that the money is being withheld on purpose to skim a bit of interest over the weekend The advisor is sure that he can resolve the problem on Monday but not on Friday There is no sound advice there is no accountability there is no professionalism The older experienced advisors have been moved on

Not reliable when you need it
Not reliable when you need it I am on a holiday and had to change my credit card limit to take the rental car The customer support said they could not raise my limit for a few hundred euros because they need to verify my passport and I need to visit local branch I didn t get any information about this requirement in advance Their inability to change my limit cost me few hundred euros due to a unnecessary rebooking After many years of use I ll be searching for a new bank

Don t be mistaken opening account with Commerz bank
This is the worst Bank ever dealing its customers based on ethnicity and nationality if they see you are a foreigner its employees behaviors will change automatically Secondly they will close your account without any reason whenever they want And if you ask them about the reason they will say we can t tell you the reason since they are all senseless and illogical
