money exchange robbery
Two days ago my daughter and partner went to crown money exchange in marrickville and converted 2400 aud to Vietnamese Dong and was given 25000000 dong now she is in Vietnam she rang me today to tell me she took out the vietnamese Dong that she put away for the trip and counted out only 16000000 dong so what happened to the other 9000000 dong and as they are only new to travel I checked the exchange rate today and 2400 aud exchanges to 39300180 48 vietnamese Dong not 25000000 Dong Someones rubbing their hands together and it isn t my daughter who has been quite distressed over this and isn t a good start for her first big adventure When she returns we will be taking this matter further and reporting it to Department of Fair Trading fortuantly she still has her reciept for the exchange This is a criminal act I m not going to say that this is how the whole company operates but staff the Marrickville outlet need to be investigated

If you don t want to loose money avoid CrownCurrency Exchange
I changed on 30 of July 500 euros with CrownCurrency Exchange Australia They gave me only 735 AU 1 1 446AU At any normal bank the rate was 1 1 666AU the same day but l learnt it after I would get 833AU with my 500 My wife changed 500US for 675AU 1 1 375AU In a bank she would get for 500US 751AU We lost 98 76 174 AU or 116US among 1051US 11 with this awful company of swindlers l think even if it s not a kind qualification that they really deserve it to apply such rates with foreigners A company to avoid

Avoid Crown Currency at all costs
Avoid Crown Currency at all costs They fleeced me out of nearly 500 with a rate equal to fraud Their website claims to offer guaranteed competitive rates JOKE The Westfield Pitt Street shop had zero interest in resolving my dispute and told me their rates are marginal they re an exotic shop and I should have done my research at the time of purchase the lady didn t tell us the rate at any time Their so called margins are almost 40 lower than banks They even said it was too late for me to dispute as it had been more than 2 weeks since purchase even though I d just got back from Vietnam the day before I have taken my case to NCAT ASIC ASSS and to a lawyer

No Commissions means rampant gouging
Yeah No Commissions means this mob COMPLETELY gouges you when it comes to the exchange rate they inflict on you which they don t show you off the bat to begin with because eye-watering surprises are there for grins so it seems Bought FJD2450 00 for AUD2025 00 on 29 08 24 - An effective exchange rate of FJD1 2098 per AUD whereas the spot price as per a Google search on the same day showed an exchange rate of about FJD1 5020 per AUD If on the other hand I d gone with a service like Wise to make my Fiji purchases then I d only have to deal with a 4 commission and would have had closer to FJD3040 to play with The no commission reamed me out to the tune of FJD591 or about AUD393
