Crunchyroll is actually REALLY GOOD

I genuinely don t know why so many people are rating it poor Unless you aren t paying for premium in which case of course it wouldn t be as good the service is actually pretty excellent I ve been a premium member for about 4 years now and the UK catalogue has improved vastly read they finally got One Piece Every interaction I ve had with the customer support has actually been fantastic I remember once they mistakenly charged me for a membership because I forgot to cancel my free trial Even though it had been 2 weeks before I realised I contacted them and they refunded me completely and promptly If you re experiencing lagging you may want to take it up with your ISP because on the premium service there s no such thing The app is especially good because they updated it to autoplay now and I also prefer the new layout it s quite spiffy If I were to leave some constructive criticism it would be to expand the anime catalogue to include older seasons of existing shows and more classics losing YuYu was a blow And the manga catalogue is pretty awful that needs a major boost Finally it would be nice if you were able to rate episodes on the app as you watch them Maybe you can if you re not streaming but I m always using Chromecast and the option never comes up But ultimately Crunchyroll is absolutely great Having a legal anime streaming service on a safe reliable platform where the creators are ACTUALLY getting profit is all I ve ever wanted And that s Crunchyroll tbh Especially as Japan are rightfully cracking down on illegal sites to ensure mangakas aren t doing all that work for pennies it s services like CR that will make sure I still have access to most of my faves If you like anime as much as you claim to why not support it It isn t hugely expensive which is even better Some people still might not be able to afford it and that s totally fine but just grit your teeth through the ads and keep leaving helpful feedback so that they work through the issues on the site because they DO listen and have made major improvements This is long as heck but I didn t think all the negative reviews were representative of what is one of my fave sites

Was a normal member before they became one of the best sites out there for anime and even though the number of shows has dropped considerably I have become a premium member and am extremely happy with it Always felt like more of an inevitability that going premium would happen bounced from site to site trying to fill in the gaps of shows that I couldn t watch on CrunchyRoll But that s why they re Five Stars I always came back and always compared every other site to Crunchy A comparison that always found the other sites waiting lagging behind in one or another in some area The superior anime streaming destination for the true fan - Streaming is fast - HD streaming available - The social side is friendly - Some BIG series available Bleach Naruto etc - Very pleasant overall layout of the site - Love the history check which keeps track of how far through a series you are - Again excellent community side - Most important to me at any rate incredibly helpful admin staff and support

I would rather not write a lengthy review so I ll just make it clear and straight This is a wonderful place to watch a huge collection of subbed anime The ad plan gets annoying and is highly unrecommended but if you want something free- it works I recommend to spend money if you have some spare to use on anime for the Premium plan The premium plan is wonderful HD shows subtitles no ads Only setback is you cannot download episodes to view offline But do not fear if you want that by getting Crunchyroll premium you also get VRV Premium as they are both made by the same company With VRV Premium you get both subbed and dubbed anime although they have mostly subbed and you can also download anime to view offline Crunchyroll is great and still reigns superior Notice Plenty of people who are reviewing this as one star have not tried the trial premium or just get mad that there are ads Like come on ads make revenue and they must make money to keep it going I recommend the premium plan if you have the money - Axel
