I needed an updated CV for regulatory reasons mine was last amended in 2009 so the file format and document formatting was all over the shop I was spending ages trying to edit the format and getting nowhere I registered for free trial uploaded my CV and it was updated and refreshed in minutes I paid for the 14 day trial price to allow downloads and today I received an email reminding me I was registered and that I d be billed again at 16 90 4 weekly So I have cancelled as I have what I need - and I have an email confirming the cancellation I ll update the review if I am billed again but I must say my experience has been great got what I needed for less than 3 quid Worth it for my sanity all day long As long as I don t get billed again I will be using this service again and from my experience I can recommend

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company I paid for a trial period and after that they automatically enrolled me in a subscription which was 21eue per month which they didn t mention at all I end up paying for 4 months when I realised it A total of 82 was paid and they refunded 8 whtaf

A very cunning company

A very cunning company cvgenius is also being run by myperfectcv they use the same script They will both allow you to put your CV together with lots of hard work then patiently await you to download the CV and present you with payment which is very disgraceful Why not put pricing on your homepage instead of allowing users to waste their time

Very unethical strategy

Very unethical company Allow you to design a product before being shown a paywall You and I know exactly why they do this can take you an hour to make a CV

TOTAL SCAMMERS

This company bills you after you have signed up for the free CV template and will continue to bill you 16 90 even though you are not using their services and they will not refund your money in full this is an absolute SCAM and avoid at all costs Have reported to trading standards so hopefully something will be done about these Lowlifes

DO NOT USE

One of the worst companies I have ever used- used a template with a 3-month trial that was advertised- then without any warning they proceeded to take 16 90 out of my account without any email or correspondence telling me so DO NOT USE - when queried they were very unhelpful and had to consistently push to get a full refund An absolute scam of a website- DO NOT USE

Hello Guys stay away from this company its actually a scam they tried take out 16 of my account for no reason

Frauds

My bank froze my card as they noticed the fraudulent activity of cv genius They attempted many times an unauthorised charge I attempted to cancel my check genius account but of course there is no where on website to do it Their customer service is extremely slow and I had to email 4 times to get a simple answer they continuesly avoided answering I have never had a worse experience with a website
