Way to many bad experiences
Way to many bad experiences between the sales and service end just one little error was I had rear derailleur cable rubbing off the carbon where it entered the frame and they stuck sticky tape over it so I couldn t see it rubbing rather than change the cable liner so it fit if I hadn t of checked their work god knows what kind of damage would have been caused on a very expensive look carbon frame that wouldn t have been covered under warrenty another story for another day from this business and changed a chainring and took to many links off the chain school boy errors on a bike that is worth many 1000s thats not all I could go on and on Professionals I like to give people the benifit of doubt but there is only so much of that one can give I used to feel sorry for the bike retailers as it is hard to compete with online sales now I learn what I need to do and do it myself your banging your head off a wall trying to deal with retailers and the service they provide

Total lack of quality control and abysmal service
I bought a new bike for 1 620 from cycle superstore Collected it two weeks ago Tried to ride it that day but the chain kept falling off Brought it back the next day Told by workshop manager that there is nothing wrong with the bike I rode it again and the chain came off as soon as I started turning the pedals A slight adjustment was made in the workshop I tried cycling it again but the problem got worse Chain kept coming off as soon as I started turning the pedals I returned the bike the next day with a request for a replacement as it was unusable and was told the manager was not in One week later I had heard nothing and they still had my bike I was unable to get through to them on the phone so I emailed both of their email addresses requesting a refund Got no reply other than an automated response confirming they received my emails It s now two weeks since I collected my new bike and 12 days since I returned it So far no communication from cycle superstore and they still have both my bike and my money This is a very unsatisfactory situation

Be careful when buying from them online
Be careful when buying from them online because if the bike has damage you are the one responsible for sending it back to them and they keep ignoring your emails

WRONG ITEM SENT
Let me start by saying this is my very first order with Cycle Superstore and it was a disaster I ordered a set of Acid A1-CB pedals in Orange Grey online and when delivery arrived Pedals were SILVER Invoice attached even stated pedals as Orange Grey and box CLEARLY showed pedals as silver I sent an email but got automatic reply saying they would repond in 48 hours so contacted Cycle Superstore via messenger and was told the the web sales team varified these are the pedals that follow the description on our website IN that case the website is incorrect ORANGE IS NOT SILVER I then tried to contact the web team by phone to request a collection of incorrect goods and issue a refund but kept going into voicemail I then contacted the main sales team who told me I had to post the item back at my additional expense before they would consider issuing refund Why on earth sould I have to incur additional costs for an incorrectly issued item The guy I spoke to didn t even want to take my number and pass it onto the web sales team Cycle Superstore should be organising collection themselves

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service Ordered an item online they sent out the wrong size item then wanted me to post back at my cost Still waiting a week later for resolution hung up the phone 3 times on me and promised to return the call but no call came

First and last time I do business with this bike shop
First and last time I do business with this bike shop Very disappointed with the service I brought my bike for a standard service and ask to change the tyres and tubes They charged me 242 92 euros More expensive than a full service for my car Instead of putting some normal tyres they just put a couple of tyres valued 64 55 euros each without me having asked for them Last time I changed the tyres of my car I paid 50 euros for each tyre I have done business in the past with Wheelworx in Fonthill and I have to say my experience was much better than with Cyclesuperstore Never again

Bad Experience
My son brought his bike into the shop for a simple adjustment on the rear derailleur as it was slightly out of line they said they don t fix it it wasn t broke Gear was in 3rd and rear derailleur was in 5th etc Didn t fix it because he didn t buy it there that s what it boils down too They didn t even look at it Very disappointed with this customer service

Terrible customer service encouraged by sales assistant to spend above a threshold to obtain a 50 voucher only to receive an email after from marketing that voucher didn t apply to these items Items also incorrectly priced 100 dearer at till than marked price Won t be back
