After calling different consultants
After calling different consultants from support was told completely different information I wasted a week preparing a document which wasn t needed because being told to prepare it by a previous person The response from Danica Pension was You were told to TRY to prepare it there was never a guarantee Thank you Danica Pension for consistency and precision

Pension payout takes months
I requested a payout of my pension as I left Denmark First it tools weeks to get the offer Meanwhile I requested to be freed from PAL Skat as I was not sure if it might have any effect After I received the offer I sent multiple mails over three weeks to ask if I should wait for the Skat approval or if it doesn t change anything about the offer No response until I received the Skat letter The offer was meanwhile outdated and I had to request again I had to proof my identity and address and this took forever It all started end of January Now beginning of April I still don t have my money Danica is the worst Why can I compare this My wife was at PFA She requested had the offer next day and the money not even a week later without any approval of address and identity It is a joke Edit 19 04 2023Nothing happenedEdit 26 04 2023Answer - Do you really want me to pull out here how often I asked you before signing that offer if I should wait for answer of SKAT Because I asked for weeks and did NEVER receive an answer Otherwise you would have had the signed offer immediately You asked for proof of my identity why hmm I have a NemKonto and a company paid my pension so don t tell me stories you were slowing this down intentionally I kept the communication up asking ALWAYS for advice and your damn poor support made this thing a nightmare Also edit And should I also bring up what I had to do to get my money Pulling my former employer the pension broker and every damn email address that I could find in a daily mail that says Where is my damn money I mean fine

Unacceptable
I am a Canadian who lived and worked in Denmark for 23 years I have an annuity pension with Danica Pension I do not have a Danish Nemkonto In February of 2024 I advised Danica Pension through their online portal that I wished to begin monthly payouts as of July 1st 2024 At that time I inquired regarding having monthly payments sent to my bank account in Canada and was advised this was no problem I signed the payout letter electronically on April 5th 2024 When I hadn t seen any funds as of July 4th 2024 I made my first inquiry and was advised that payment processing takes 10 days huh I waited until July 10th and then began the countless online portal inquiries and lengthy email exchanges In late July I was advised that Danica Pension could not use my already registered foreign Nemkonto and that I had to provide information regarding my Canadian bank account No one from Danica Pension advised me of this previously but I adhered immediately I finally recieved one payment on August 8th more than one month after the first payment should have taken place As of today August 27th 2024 I have not received anything further Next payment is due in 3 days There have been many more email exchanges with mixed messaging Last Friday August 23rd 2024 I recieved an email advising missing funds had actually not been dispersed and then today I was advised that funds had been returned again and that Danica Pension is often faced with challenges with payments to Canada I find that hard to swallow given that my bank is a full fledged SWIFT member and that one payment was executed Aug 8th Note that I did manage to get through on the phone about 10 days ago wait times are horrendous and the gentleman that I spent almost an hour with on the phone was very pleasant but was unable to help me There is an 8 hour time difference so the window is small for phone calls I am left hanging not knowing if this is going to be a continual problem going forward This has obviously been a hit to my personal financial situation There has been no offer whatsoever of any kind of compensation from Danica Pension I suggest to anyone else expecting any kind of payout to Canada from Danica Pension to start getting things set up well in advance of when funds are needed I was naive enough to believe technology for this would be a given for an established Danish Pension company Not so Terribly disappointed

Uncompetitive packages with awful customer experience
In today s market customer experience is the key differentiator when everyone else s products are the exact same Danica Pension completely missed this memo offering uncompetitive packages paired with awful customer experience I asked a year ago to cancel my pension with them and I am still in back and forth with their less than helpful team It is an absolute joke of a company and to be honest I am not surprised that this is the case coming from their parent company and their recent scandals Even after a year of back and forth to finally get an answer on this I now understand how much they want to charge me for their inflated admin fees Edit to reply to mediocre response If you check your records my request to leave Danica predates January 2022 in fact this has been going on since 2020 I had to chase to get any basic level of information on the offboarding process no information in this area was proactively provided to me on my initial request back 2020 As you confirm yourself it took two years to get the first offer Any self respecting company would waive those disgusting inflated fees especially the longer you get to hold onto my money the more of a benefit it is to your business Where are your morals
