"Horrendous quality umbrellas and even "
Horrendous quality umbrellas and even worse customer service I have their golf umbrella One day the cheap plastic handle litereally broke in half on its own Contacted the company to get it fixed Customer service told me to pay 11 95 online to get it serviced They then told me to ship with my own money to their office in NY I told them I can just drop off the umbrella given I live close by and it would cost 30 to ship it given the size They said that s not possible I can only mail it to them How does that make any sense So I d have to pay 40 to fix a crappy umbrella I already paid 11 95 on their website and never got that money back Drugstore quality umbrellas sold at luxury prices And worst of all terrible customer service Do NOT buy anything from this fraudulent company

"Quality really depends and they charge you for replacement repair no matter what"
I was delighted to buy this product with the design However within a month after my purchase the metal part snapped naturally and it s out of use They offer you a lifetime guarantee but charge you 10 at least I was so disappointed with this offer and since mine broke within a month I didn t even want a replacement paying extra This brand feels overrated and the actual quality and function aren t what you expect from how they look online I was thinking of getting another one as a gift but it was nice that I could find out this brand isn t good as a gift I ve used a more classic umbrella for more than 10 years before buying this and it was much better also with the simplicity of the structure

"Very disappointed - 2 broken umbrellas in less than a year"
I purchased a small Davek umbrella to prevent putting another broken umbrella into landfill I thought with the unlimited warranty the I would be safe The umbrella broke within a month of use I then unahappily paid 15 postage to get a replacement months later because they did not have the colour that I originally wanted When i got the new one it lasted exactly 2 months before breaking Considering that my main aim was to keep broken umbrellas out of landfill DAVEK has proven to be very disappointing I will never buy this product again or even waste the postage for a new one and do not advise others to do so

"Lifetime guarantee I don t think so "
Lifetime guarantee I don t think so The first Solo wouldn t even close properly so they shipped me another one But this has only lasted two years broken in very stormy winds Lifetime guarantee you have to pay for shipping so how can it be free I thought paying for a 100 umbrella would be the answer to my problems I m not convinced

"Crappy quality no unconditional lifetime warranty for Swedes it seems "
I have bought 4 umbrellas from Davek since I like the look of them The quality however is so so and I have replaced 3 of them since they provide what they call Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee Now an umbrella broke again the 4th and I contacted support Now I receive the information that for some reason they do not ship replacement umbrellas to Sweden I can buy umbrella on their website and have it shipped to Sweden but apparently not when I excercise my unconditional lifetime guarantee because then it is suddenly conditional that I do not live in Sweden So somehow you have to make sure that you do not live in a country to which they do not ship for some obscure reason

To have to pay for return shipping AND have money taken off for the shipping to my house is ridiculous Especially when selling 100 umbrellas 20 just for me to find out your umbrella is not made with the quality matierals as described and not worth the previous price you are charging You could do better

The quality of this umbrella does not meet their claims It is poor quality hard to operate the automatic opening button in fact does not now operate Hardly used and now will not open Do not buy its a waste of money The customer service is also non existent don t answer emails and not bothered about disatisfied customers
