Worst company I ve used

I placed an order on the 21st of August I emailed on the 29th and got no reply I emailed again on the 30th for a refund and got no reply I got an email on the 1st of September saying it would be delivered on the 4th I didn t get an email saying it had been dispatched or tracking number Today is the 4th No delivery turned up I ve emailed twice today and guess what Again no reply I ve just had an email from this company saying my order was delivered I want photographic evidence it was delivered because it wasn t I have cctv that covers my garden and front door This will prove 100 I didn t get this order I ll be contacting my bank In the morning and reporting this as fraud Order Number was 67375 Use this company at your own risk

Ordered 5 items of different fish

Ordered 5 items of different fish 6 of one items worth 32 70 were missing in package that was delivered Phoned and texted and emailed for a whole week no reply wont be buying from here any more having spent over 500 in last 18 months Disrespectful company and there loss in future

Absolute Jokers Where to begin with these So I ordered over 120 worth of stock and 4 out of the 14 I ordered have died within 3 days it could probably be down to the delivery driver just literally dropping the box on the floor when delivered I even asked him if he knew live fish were in the box to which he fully acknowledged The delivery time was horrendous and when they say you ll get a 2 hour time slot you only get this like 30 minutes before hand It s a joke but not the biggest one The biggest joke was when I ordered 4 Blood Red Juwel fish clue to the colour is in the name and they ve sent me something completely different I m still trying to figure out what they are but they re certainly not Blood Red s they re not even Red they re white for Christ sake These folk don t know their species at all and the photos online I suspect are taken from someone else s website I m so glad I only ordered a few as I wanted to overstock two 240 litre tanks but it won t be from these It ll be from somewhere that knows their fish To make it worse the fish that died aren t one of the unidentifiable ones I m going to my local fish shop within the next week with photos to try to identify them and I ll update this review when I finally can Just a word of advice if you haven t ordered from these before I d give them a serve

Poor animal care and poor processes

I was allocated a delivery date of today 7th November however I told Delta that I would be unable to be home from the office until 2pm so if we could rearrange that would be great Delta rearranged confirmed in email that the new date would be Tuesday 12th November I received a phone call at the office today that the fish had arrived and that the courier was not a specialist livestock courier as written on Delta s website Fortunately my neighbour took the box in for me until I could get home as quickly as I could and arrived about 1pm On unsealing the box I found one thin layer of paper no polystyrene or bubble wrap to insulate The fish were double bagged and had several small rapidly cooling heat packs in their box but the bags were freezing I put the bags sealed in my tank to warm up and noticed that of the 10 fish I ordered 5 were dead presumably due to the cold A refund would be appreciated but will not bring the poor fish back Please reconsider Delta if you re planning on buying from them Thank you

Family friendly and every question answered aquarium shop

Visited the delta aquarium today around 2pm walked in was amazed at all the products they had for sale and kids were excited to see some nemo s clown fish swimming around I was greeted by Mendez and Kane absolutely spot on they were very welcoming to me and my children very attentive helped with anything I needed showed me where I should be looking and what fish I should have together in a tank and what wouldn t suit my fish tank ask any question and they could help and now me and my family have a load of lovely fish in our tank at home they suggest how to keep the fish happy I would hugely recommend this family friendly aquarium shop to anyone will 100 be going back or ordering on there online store thanks again

I have been using their LFS since I was a teenager buying fish on my way home from college at their old location And I m now 35 buying fish on my way home from work at their current spot Simon the owner is a legend real friendly knowledgeable and always sorts me out shows me what s new and even orders me stuff in Staff are always friendly and welcoming Willing to answer any questions you might have or find out the answers for you if they aren t sure Mendez is an awesome help and is legit a cool guy Great shop Great people Great experience Liam Davis

Montez was very attentive knowledgable and informative He had great insight into why some of my fish were behaving in such a way His advice was spot on and I will definitely always buy my fish and products from them
