Horrible customer service Took over 2 months for them to reactivate my plan after their sub-par website won t allow you to login or even reset password after copying and pasting temporary passwords they send through email get on the phone and the only thing they tell you to do is to send a check to pay for upcoming months in advance to resume coverage mail them the check have to personally reach out again for them to credit the check that was pulled from my account a month prior For them to make you go through the process again Without any assistance to get online login working or being able to see SOB and any claims charged to my plan Worst insurance I ve ever had AVOID AT ALL COST You re better off paying out of pocket or hopping on the government welfare train before willingly paying for coverage that you won t receive

Horrible customer service I have been locked out of my online portal twice called in to see why and was hung up on three times Called back and finally got a live person Had to re-sign up and I am locked out of the online portal again Called back two times and the line disconnects when I get to a certain point Horrible

I previewed my dentist on their site
I previewed my dentist on their site before I switched to this dental company just to make sure they covered my dentist which their website said they did It has now taken four months 38 dentist and nine cities and they still cannot find a dentist for me Better business bureau rates this company as a CWallet hub gives this company one star out of a five star ratingI have personally called Dentaquest probably six times I have gone through my insurance company and they have got Dentaquest on the phone so three of us can have a conference call I have called Medicare twice to file a complaint against them and finally today beginning of month number four they are telling me to go to the original dentist that is denied me on three other occasions lol what a joke

I m writing this as a PROVIDER EVER SINCE SUNLIFE BOUGHT DENTAQUEST THEIR PORTAL IS HORRIBLE TO OPERATE THEY DENY PROCEDURES THAT ARE MEDICALLY NECESSARY FOR PATIENTS CHANGE THEIR RULES WITHOUT LETTING PROVIDER KNOW IE YOU CANT PLACE IMPLANT ABUTMENT SAME DAY AS PLACEMENT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE LIES TO THE PATIENTS AND BLAMES US SAYING WE DONT SEND INFO WHEN WE DO THEY ARE HORRIBLE NOW THEY APPROVE WORK THEN DENY IT WHEN MORE INFO IS SENT FOR OTHER WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE UNACCEPTABLE You guys will be losing a lot of in network dentists unless you get it together Bring back the old portal and rules from the start of this year That s all

They do not answer their phone lines In the last week I have twice sat for over 1-1 2 HOURS before giving up They have been like this for YEARS I am not going to renew - they are WAAAAY too much trouble to get in touch with to get issues addressed Their website is as bad as their non-existent phone reps Get your dental insurance from some OTHER company

DentaQuest is PAINFUL
Needed an emergency extraction of a split tooth The pain was excruciating I was told a few days earlier that surgery couldn t be performed if there was heavy infection with severe swelling so I reduced the swelling using an oral rinse brushing disinfectant cold fluids gum massage I was in the chair ready to be sedated when the doctor said DentaQuest wouldn t pay for the tooth removal I asked why He stated because the gum looks almost normal so it doesn t meet their criteria for an emergency extraction I confirmed with him that if I had come in while the gum was massively swollen with bleeding discharge my insurance would have paid for this procedure Correct What in the world I had to wait several more days in excruciating pain couldn t eat or sleep normally missed another doctor appointment lost several pounds canceled my birthday events lost work time had to take so much pain medication my ears were ringing DentaQuest should be forced out of business for endangering the lives of their clients UPDATE The tooth was removed a week later but it was too late The infection spread to my bloodstream caused an infection in my left armpit area resulting in substantial inflammation pain bulging veins micro clots and temporary loss of the entire arm thought it was a stroke at first Took antibiotics for several days the the arm is back to normal now Two takaways from this experience 1 I changed dental insurance providers 2 I learned NOT fool around with tooth infections Get the infected tooth out of your system as soon as possible

I have now been on hold for over almost
I have now been on hold for over almost 2 hours I have not been able to use this insurance because no dentist in my area accepts it They lie about which dentist accept their insurance There is no help yet they have taken my money I want my money back they are useless Please save yourself the trouble this is not a legitimate company that cares about their customers subscribers RUN

I d give them lower score if I could I choose them as my insurance and got locked out of there website emailed them called them sat in hold for hours spent over a week trying to contact them to pay my premiums I gave up getting different company The marketplace needs to remove them completely and not offer this insurance

Wow called Dental Quest to schedule and appointment only to wait 45 minutes then they hang up your call to avoid speaking to people I could only imagine how many times they done this procedure to people to avoid doing their jobs

Awful Abysmal Terrible
Awful awful customer service As someone else said - I would give them a lower than one-star rating if I could I have tried several times to get help gaining online access to my account Twice they have opened a ticket and told me I would be sent a resolution or a status update email in 24 to 48 hours nothing either time It s been six weeks since the first ticket and four weeks since the second I have not received any sort of communication at all from them other than mailed paper invoices for my premiums of course Now when I call I get an automated recording saying We are experiencing unusually high call volumes Please call back at a later time then they hang up I have tried calling at various times during business hours on multiple days and have even tried getting someone in another department but receive the same message and disconnect every time Maybe their systems are so bad that many people are experiencing the same issues as I and they indeed are being besieged with calls and cannot handle them all - who knows It s not hyperbole to say they are literally impossible to reach
