DHL Freight doesn t care at all
We ordered a very expensive TV bench through a company that used DHL Freight Upon delivery the driver was incredibly careless about dropping off the package The pallet lift was partially dangling on the edge of the truck s elevator as the driver was lowered it It was so unstable we felt we had to jump in hold on to the box and tell the driver to be more careful Once the box was placed inside the lobby of our apartment building we clearly noticed two gaping holes in the box They clearly matched the pallet lift used by the driver I pointed out the holes in the box and the fact I could see inside through several layers of packaging material but the driver simply said it was delivered to us this way The driver proceeded to pressure us to sign on his device despite that I wanted to investigate this further I didn t know until afterwards that you re supposed to make the driver make a note of the clearly visible damage to the box I m sure he knew given his demeanor he knew he had f-ed up and was hoping to get away with it Luckily I made clear pictures of the box before signing or opening anything There s absolutely no ambiguity about who caused the damage here When we unboxed despite being protected by multiple layers of wood styrofoam and cardboard it became clear there was massive damage to the TV bench Not talking about a visible scratch here either It s clear the pallet lift went straight through the packaging and straight through one of the doors of the TV bench The door was split in half and a door stopper behind the door was ripped out of the wood with the screw bend from the sheer force that was applied to it Considering how much money was spend on this TV bench which was supposed to be the first big purchase of our new place our heart sank understandably to the floor We immediately contacted DHL Freight and the company we ordered the TV bench from The company we ordered from were incredibly fast to respond gave us relief it would be fixed by them offered us options and those were resolved in less than 24h It s now been well over a month and we haven t even heard a single response from DHL Their auto-response mail says they strive to contact within 10 days which is already a pathetically long time to respond If we had not used the other company we d still have been guessing whether or not our big purchase would have been a complete waste Worst of all DHL Freight has the gall to require you to save the packaging until DHL has responded and made a decision This means we have a broken TV bench and a pile of packaging scattered around our apartment for well over a month still not sure whether we re ever going to hear anything from DHL It is absolutely clear that DHL Freight does not care one tiny ounce about the quality of their service It s not a surprise they have such a poor rating on this website or any site you can find I will never ever use DHL or its Freight subsidiary again and will go out of my way to spread the word of its deplorable quality of service for many years to come Do yourself a favor spend a few extra bucks on another service DHL freight is neither worth it nor deserving of anyone s hard earned money

Not polite honest freight company
Sorry to say but what DHL Freight has developed to I wouldn t recomend at all Since the freight company don t seems to bother at all what Care and Transport instructions are I was sending 3 indiviual parcels to my relatives in Poland from Sweden Sorry to say but neither of them came in one piece But what s more upseting or should I say embaresment for DHL is how many lies disshonest they say to their customers Many regular customers don t reflect what actualy happends to their dropped-off parcels but I was following how my parcels was shipped But I would give my positive words about the staff that I was in touch with It was from him wich also confirmed my story how this could happend It seems that the parcels was damaged here at the local freight seight in Sweden outside Stockholm but DHL notified me when the parcel arrived at their central Freighseght in Germany Which means that DHL ships damaged cargo across hole Europe-instead of being honest and contact directly the customer either reciver or sender when the damage happend All of the parcels was stricly marked as FRAGILE GLAS- THIS SIDE UP But it seems that it doesn t bother DHL at all of basic handeling and care instructions It seems that DHL handel their parcels automaticluy nowdays and that s why you don t cant put some one in personal respons for that So in my case DHL manage to completly devastate one parcel by fliping the whole box upside down and nearly completly devastate 2 other parcels the same way But what s more embarresment is that DHL only acknowledged that 2 parcels was damaged-wich I also was compensated for So this mean that only if I calculate shiping costs a loss of nearly 1400 SEK If I was CEO of a bussiness like that I wound t accept this type of behaviour Since this is trust industry-and customers expects cargo wich is not damaged and that you don t get any second chance And to blame come with bad excuses wich many experienced customers can look through is just a evidence of bad leadership So not that I got personaly dissapoined because I made many jars full of jams compotes etc- and try to calculate any comersal value in it is quite useless but also according to the reciver I personaly would t accept at all any goods wich is damaged- I would rather recejt it and let it go back to the sender So It seems nowdays that you can t trust put any faith to any shiping company today If you would send something wich has a personal and sentimental value I would rather handel it over personaly or higher a smaler shiping company wich you can trust

Their service approach is appalling
Their service approach is appalling They keep routing my parcels to a service point in another town I kept asking them to route them to the service point in my town But they keep saying the other point is nearer No it is not Google maps AND MY DRIVING STATISTICS confirm that And I have no other business in that other town This means that when I get a DHL parcel I need to spend another 2 hours on winding country roads just to pick that parcel up This as instead picking it up in the town where I shop dine etc And the town that according to my address is my town

DHL Freight is really terrible
DHL Freight is really terrible They send your goods to other towns They think that you as a consumer should take a cab and spend more than 100 Euros to pick up a parcel This instead of sending it to the service point in the town where the delivery address is This is crazy And their customer service Worth every bad review they have received

This company has serious problems
This company has serious problems My shipment has been here in the local warehouse now for a very long time and they are unable to tell me when they can supply it to me They do not want to answer me as they only want to communicate with the shipper and not the receiver They just hang up the phone when I ask them again to just send out the shipment like they should already have done more than 1 week ago I recommend to never work with this company

The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever I am waiting for 2 weeks on an important package which I suppose to get 9 days ago and it is stuck in Houten for a week now No information whats-o-ever The worst thing is they are blaming each other DHL freight and DHL parcel and put me in the middle of this I feel like the kid needing to think of a solution for fighting parents or something On top of this they are claiming things the sender did which I know he didn t His word against them Who to believe Out of the experience I have now with DHL I decide not to believe DHL that is for sure My biggest frustration is they are not offering any solution They are putting me on hold for 20 minutes regularly But my only option is to keep on calling them because they are not informing me in any way on the developments I think I already spend 5 frustrating hours on this I can not believe how terrible this company is Thinking of suing them or getting the package myself and claim the costs to them Anyone with me

Worst customer service by any logistics
Worst customer service by any logistics company They needed a week to answer a simple question despite many escalations This happened in the past too You never receive a proper feedback from them in time Never In the past they collected various supplier s shipments for a customer in their warehouse before they bothered to actually deliver Never had they made an appointment with the customer They just decided on their own to do this
